Weekend Post

Morning all. It’s Sunday. Blue skies and sunshine are in the forecast today. Nice..

Thursday night was interesting. I didn’t go to the gym. I came home, messed around on the computer and ended up hanging out with Alex. We went to the mall and I met a couple of his friends. He asked if I wanted to go out to the bar with him that night. I figured, why not? I haven’t been out all week (I’m really trying here) and I didn’t have work the next day. So I was out until about 1am. Not too bad. Funny story here though. We went to Starbucks Boys house and so I was there with Alex, Starbucks Boy and Starbucks Boys friend. His friend ended up leaving and then it just ended up being the three of us. Haha! How weird is that? It was all cool though. Then Alex and I left and went to the bar. We played pool, met some guys and then played them. We suck at pool. It was all in good fun though. At one point Alex looked at me and asked me if I realized that I was like.. one of five girls in the entire place. Not exactly a place for girls. It was kind of a dive bar but still fun and definitely my kind of scene. Pool, jukebox and ten bucks for two hours on all you can drink. It was fun. We went to Alex’s house, hung out and then I came home.

Woke up Friday not feeling so good. I called Nicole and she ended up coming to the DMV with me to renew my license. We had A LOT of fun. If anyone ever wants to make the trip to the DMV fun, then just bring me along. I’m crazy. Hehe. After the DMV we had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. While having lunch work called and asked if I could come in from about 3pm to closing. Hmph! On my day off no less! So, I went to work for the closing shift that night. I don’t think I did anything else with my night. OHHH yeah! So, Brandon ended up calling me and we talked for a little while. Later on in the night he asked if I can’t sleep, he can’t either so I should come hang out. I got all dressed and ready to leave. Somehow I ended up getting lost in another town and I had no clue as to where I was. I was anxious like crazy and just wanted to be home so I came home. He was frustrated that I didn’t just call him. Blah. So that was my night.

Yesterday (Saturday) I took the Civil Service test. It went great. They give you a two hour time limit and I was the first one done in 25 minutes. It was all based on punctuation errors, spelling and grammatical corrections. I also had to proofread a business letter and make sure the format was correct. VERY simple. I came home, talked to Amanda on the phone for a little while and then took a four hour nap. Yikes! I was supposed to go to that party out east with Ashley and her new GF but I didn’t. I regretted it later on in the night when I had no plans on a Saturday night. I was prepared to just stay home when Brandon called. He picked me up around 10:45pm and we hung out until about 1am. I was different since I’ve seen him last and I think he knows it too. Weird. It was good seeing him. I’m not sure if we’re going to do the whole.. wait two months thing to hang out again. We’ll see. Maybe sometime this week we’ll do dinner. I don’t know.

I dyed my hair black!!!! I think it looks pretty damn cute too. I’m really excited about it. It matches the style I’m going for these days. Just bought some cute new clothes on pacsun too to try out. Fitted T-Shirts and a new pair of black jeans. Cute new belt too.. yay! I think I bought a pair of sunglasses too.. geez.. I shop too much. Hehe! I woke up this morning and my back is KILLING ME =( I guess I slept wrong. I don’t know.

So.. I don’t have much planned today at all. I woke up pretty early and I feel well-rested. Maybe I’ll get to the gym. Or I could just take a walk outside. It’s really pretty outside. I guess I’ll finish my book today too. Maybe do a load of laundry. Write up a shopping list. Just going to have a good down time day. Last week was pretty busy for me but I feel accomplished in all I got done :) Yayay!

    I miss a couple of weeks… and I am totally lost! LOL… black hair… new guy…

    I should take you with me to the DMV… I lost my license and have to go get a new one. I hate that place!!! Glad things are going well!
