Happy Hump Day!

Morning all. It’s beautiful here in NY today. Much like yesterday. I’m pretty sure today is supposed to be warmer too. Hm.. =)

Yesterday went wonderfully. Work was good, the gym was 45 minutes on the treadmill for a total of three miles. Fifteen minutes per mile.. not too bad. I’m excited to see the mileage increase and the total time decrease, that’s for sure. I came home and showered. I never used to shower once I got home but I think I might start doing it from now on. It totally refreshes me and I feel like a brand new woman after a good sweat session and a nice clean shower. I was supposed to hang out with Alex but that didn’t happen. I was going to call him and cancel but he got to me first. No hard feelings. So, I basically read, fooled around online and watched TV from 5pm to the time I went to bed. I had a bit of a hard time falling asleep last night but still got a good eight hours or more. Yes, good day.

This morning I woke up a little tired. Hoping it goes away once I inhale my Starbucks coffee. Weight this morning was 158.5. Yes! Two days back on track and I’m down 3.5 pounds. I am VOWING to never see those damn 160’s ever again! I still can’t believe I let myself get to a place where they were visible on my scale in the first place. Never again! Breakfast this morning is my slimfast shake and I’m taking along a banana and a fiber one bar for later. Lunch will be a salad and dinner is up the air. It’ll probably be a WW meal or something. We’ll see. Plan today is work from 9 - 4. Gym is 4 - 5. Home to get cleaned up and then to get my taxes done at 6. At 8:30 tonight I’m going to Croxleys Ale House. This will be the real test. Alcohol and ten cent chicken wings. However, I’m totally in the zone right now. I feel good. My body is sore and definitely thanking me for my activities the past two days. I personally don’t want to wake up tomorrow feeling hung over and bloated like I have been the past couple of months. I’ll order a diet coke and bring along a snack bar or something. Summer is just around the corner. I can’t hide in my sweatshirts anymore. It’s going to be time for sleeveless shirts soon. If I give it my all in these next couple of months I should be back in the 140’s with any luck.

Alright, girls. I guess it’s time for me to head out. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Sweat, water, exercise! Woohoo! =)

    Gosh, they had 10 cent wing nights like 25 years ago back in NY! Must be going broke on those. Gosh, good ones are hard to pass up - but think of all that fat in the skin and more fat they fried in! Ick!
