Oh where, oh where has my little bed gone?

I am so sleepy! I just want to get home. That’s not cool, I’m SUPPOSED to be working out, but I’m totally beat. At least tomorrow is a Y day =)

Anyhoot, I’ll post the weigh-in results tomorrow… probably lol. Nice job for all of you who kept up with the challenge =) November ended up being a rough month here at the end, for sure. I know a lot of you are rooting for a Christmas challenge, but unfortunately with the way my own attendance on the blogs has been going, as well as some other challengers, AND because it’s the end of my semester, so I have a lot of exams to prepare for, coupled with the holidays, I won’t be able to do another challenge. If someone else would like to start one, go for it! But I think I’m going to take a bit of a challenge hiatus and just go it alone this next month.

Any Little Bit Helps?

Down 1.4lbs today, which is pretty accurate for my week. My eating wasn’t off plan (aside from Thanksgiving) but I’m a little wonky with my exercise. I used to find a lot more joy in it, and lately I’ve been becoming complacent with “less is more”. No. No, no, no, no! Bad Jel! I just want one thing, and that is to have a 100% week, and only I am in control of that. So, I think I know what needs to be done. I need to get ready for Saturday, because it’s my birfday party and I will be going out to eat AND having cake. Yep, yep. My birthday is actually this Wednesday, December 1st, but since I’ll be in school, I can’t have my party then, but Saturday is much better. This is bound to be a busy week, I just need to plow on through and give everything my all, even if I have to force down five cups of green tea, I will be 199lbs at my birthday party! YES I WILL BE!

And Everything is Going to the Beat

Wow! Busy day today! I went to the 5k this morning with my best friend. No, I didn’t run or walk it, the registration fee was $20 and it put me off a little. I think it’s just badly timed. If it wasn’t the holidays I would have been more inclined to pay the fee, but since I don’t have a job, $20 is hard to come by, and I’m putting it towards my two best friends Christmas gifts, and that’s looking to add up to about $130 (I have $70 so far, hooray for my good saving skills XD). But the race was quick and fun, she didn’t PR but it was like ten degrees outside, and there were some snow flurries. The race was on a tree farm and they had the tastiest hot chocolate, omg! I did avoid all popcorn temptations =)

I discovered today that I really am “noticing” my progress. Actually, I noticed on Wednesday night. Call them some NSV’s: I had this old black jacket, midthigh length, and it buttoned down the front. Mostly my stomach and boobs got in the way, I still can’t button it up my boobs (I don’t want to because then it looks like I’m a drill sergeant or something) but it fit so nicely over my stomach AND my arms and it was always super tight on my arms! I was like WOW! This looks better on me now than when I bought it! And then today I wasn’t really dressed to impress, I was just dressed to be WARM! I had on some leggings and these Ugg like boots. I hate the Uggs (or however you spell them) but these boots were actually really cute! I had my hair in pony tails, which doesn’t happen a lot, and a hat on, and I looked so cute!! We even took some pictures, and I definitely wasn’t trying to look good in them, but they turned out nicely! And I was like holy cow! My face is slimming down!!

I was so happy about it!!! ^_^ I’m feeling great, great, great! It’s going to suck going back to school, but right now, it’s the only bad thing going on =P and I think that’s something to be proud of!

Happy Turkey Day!

These last couple weeks I have been getting really off track. I’m sure you’ve noticed my lack of acitvity on the blogs, but it’s more like a lack of activity in general. Had I stuck to my good ways, I wouldn’t be so afraid for Thanksgiving, but now I’m a little on the fence. I’m going to weigh myself tomorrow morning and do a little before and after. I wish you all the best, and hope you make healthy choices today ^_^ What am doing to aid my Turkey Day pig out? Walking! I’ll be walking for a total of two hours tomorrow. 45minutes before and 45 minutes after. It’s important to burn calories, and keep your metabolism up, so that’s what I’m going to do. I am also going to drink at LEAST 5 bottles of water.

In other news, my best friend invited me to one of her 5ks this Saturday. I went to a triathalon of hers a while back, and it looked really cool. I’m not a big runner or form swimmer though. But I’m going to ask her if the 5k this weekend is open to participants signing up that morning. Because if so, I think I’m going to try to do it. I will probably walk, mostly, and I don’t expect her to stay with me. I don’t want to hold her back, but I think it’s perfect to A) get me motivated again, B) get me moving after Thanksgiving, C) form new bonds with my friend who I’ve actually been estranged from for a few months now. And plus, I’ve kind of really wanted to be able to do 5ks, marathons, triathalons, all that. I figured I wouldn’t be able to do it till next year, but why not at least try it out? I can actually see myself training for it and getting better, and maybe one day I’ll be able to keep up with my friend, and then we can do these things together hardcore. wow, that sounds so fun. So yeah! I’ve pretty much talked myself into doing it.

Now, I’m clearing my head, and I don’t care if I’ve had a super crappy two weeks, or if Thanksgiving is in a couple hours, or ANYTHING. I am. Not. Giving. Up. On this week. I might only have four days, but I’m giving it my flippin ALL. I will get back on track! AND SO WILL ALL OF YOU DAMMIT!

That did not go as planned

Well, the week started out FANTASTIC… and steadily became probably my worst week in diet history. Lost a stinking POUND (actually, this is a really good thing. I thought I would gain like 50 by the end of the week). I’m still blaming my TOM for throwing me completely off, but as the days progressed, my eating habits got a little…obnoxious. Monday will be a fresh start, I’m getting all my cravings out, forbidding myself from eating out this weekend (I’m out of money anyways, so it works perfectly), and using my Thanksgiving break to put in some extra time at the YMCA. If any of my chicas are still floating around, I need you guys to be screaming at me in every comment you leave! I mean absolutely insult me! Call me a fat cow if you have to, make me cry! I will get on each day, and see your mean comments, and sobbingly go to the gym, and drown my woes in salads with extra lettuce. It’s gonna happen.

But really, I am seriously starting to worry about Pepa. PEPA COME BACK! Not cool, dudette. Not cool.
