News!

Scale’s down to 173.0 this morning!! That was a bit of a shock.. but i’m totally excited!!! Only 4 pounds untili i reach the 160’s. Definitely the result of no junk food the past couple days and a nice little whoosh.

In other news… I officially got my engineering job!! I am soo excited. [...]

Tonight I went for a 4 mile run, and I felt FANTASTIC when I finished. I’m writing this to remind myself, next time I have a 4 mile run: Jess, It feels so good when you finish!!! to quote nike: JUST DO IT!

Scale going down, down, down!

I’m sticking to my eating plan better than I ever have, and the scale is rewarding me! My weigh in this past sunday was 177.5, which was the lowest number I’d seen. Yesterday it went down to 176.5, and today I saw 175.5!!! I’m so excited Seeing the numbers move is so motivating to [...]

I have been doing really well food-wise, and decent exercise-wise. I’m somewhat nervous/excited for tomorrow morning’s weigh-in. I am definitely expecting a loss… I’m nervous for it being smaller than I expect, and I’m excited because it could possibly be my lowest number yet! We shall see tomorrow!
I’m “officially” starting my 5K training on monday. [...]

Shopping trip!

Today I went shopping at Target with a visa gift card! I got a bunch of awesome stuff. Since it’s New Year’s week, there was a lot of fitness and resolution oriented sales going on. I bought a hand weight set, which has 3’s, 5’s, and 8’s. I can’t wait to give em a try [...]
