Zee and Sarah - how can I go wrong with you encourging me along!!!  Makes me feel fabulous!!!

Calories for 06/04 1850 I indulged in my favourite weekly treat - my Starbucks mocha - no fat no whip please. Turns out I am being taken out for another one today too — sighs. Ate well made good choices. After work I had a podiatrist appointment to get the results of my tests. Turns out I have a pinched nerve in my foot and I have to get orthotics. They should work for about 5 years but it looks like surgery is in my future. Although as I said to him who knows what advances will be made in five years. So he made a cast of my feet and in a couple of weeks I will have my custom orthotics - oh happy happy joy joy. At least I can return to my fitness classes soon after that. When I got home I did 39 minutes on my WiiFit - -still enjoying it and unlocking more and more each time. Turns out I enjoy the boxing - who knew pacifist Joanne would enjoy beating the crap out of a virtual punching bag LOL

Day 7 - barely!!!

Calories for 06/03 1820 not the greatest - my goal is to keep it under 1800 but yesterday was a wicked day. We had a meeting in the morning and we brought back the food leftovers - not too much but one of my major weaknesses is cheese. I accounted for each of the pieces I ate and later in the day I was offered a mini donut and I should have said no but this person was retiring and he thought he was doing something good by bringing us treats - ACKKKK Anyway it was a mini one. Then after work I had to take my mom to the chiropractor and she wanted McDonalds for dinner - I ordered the chicken fajitas for myself and I was dismayed when I got home and realized the calorie count was 200 calories each - sucks!!!! No time for Wii either - once I finally got home I had been up and moving for over 14 hours so I was exhausted, upset and just plain miserable — blech.
Today is another day - -another day — another day LOL

Calories for 06/02 1768 not bad and had a 34 minute workout on the WiiFit in the morning. Then all heck broke loose and the rest of the day was not my own. Sunday I spent most of the afternoon with my mom– I offered to take Monday off and she turned me down. Later in the evening she changed her mind and asked me to come over. I was trying to get an appointment for her with her chiropractor - aside from dealing with the last of her chemo treatments her back has gone out - which SUCKS!!! Bottom line is at 9 in the morning after my workout and shower I was on my way over to spend the day with her. I packed up a banana, carrots and tomatos. Didn’t really eat properly and when I got home at 4PM I was quite hungry - with no carbs or protien for the day it took its toll. But I refused to eat anything bad — that and the fact I don’t have anything bad in the house - helps
But I still went on a bit of a grazing - cottage cheese, melons, smart popcorn and my almonds. Satisfied my hunger - but its certainly better to balance out the day. I am doing my best to not allow my body to own me but its hard sometimes.

Day 3

Friday was a rather good day — ate well for most of the day and then had to go out last night for a retirement dinner. I arranged the dinner so I had to be there. At least I had control over the menu and decided to order the vegetarian version and save some calories — my goodness it was FABULOUS. Bit too much sauce but good none the less. When I left work I had injested 1100 calories and I bet dinner came in about 1000 (best to guess up).

The main joy is I jumped on my WiiFit this morning and did the body test. I will try to do it on Saturday mornings. Joy of joys I was down 4.2 pounds — so I will adjust my numbers soon.

Day 4

Shocked the heck out of myself when I finished with my calorie counter in the evening and found I was at 1558 for the day — YAY!!!! And that included my 30 minute workout in the morning. Of course my sweetie had to put in an hour workout - he is much more competitive than me. He is constantly trying to do better with his scores. I just want to break a sweat (I do) and feel stretched and ready to take on the day.

Day 5

Another good day of exercise and eating right. Got up in the morning and had my breakfast — didn’t give myself enough time to let everything settle so when I was trying to do the hula hoop on Wii I could feel things sloshing around LOL. Decided to NOT do the super Hula Hoop - but did a good 30 minutes. My sweetie and I aren’t the most competitive people but we still like to see our scores at the top of the list. Some of the things I do better than he does - others he rocks it out.

Calories for 06/01 1737 I spent most of the afternoon over at my mom’s so I had trouble being very hungry when I got home. Although I made some good choices I did forget to input them later. I finished my day up thinking I wasn’t even at 1400 calories - then it dawned on me I had forgotten a couple of very key calorie counts for the day - as you can see it goes up and a tiny bit over 1700 which is better. I will not weigh myself until Saturday morning, but so far I can see a difference with my sweetie - he wanted to lose 10 pounds before our wedding he is almost there. I will take any loss I can get - I just refuse to put any on.
