Off to Maui

Ok dear blog you will be dusted off and renewed (yet again) when I return from Maui.  Unless of course my darling and I are adopted by some millionare Hawaiian who wants us to live with them on there estate - -Ya RIGHT!!!

 I will be back all fresh with my new tool for calorie calculation, I plan to make it my new best friend and keep it at my side - at least that is the plan!!!

Not sure about my calories for the day — did really well and then went on a sweet hunt in the evening — I didn’t eat much but it was enough to make it difficult for me to record my calories — that is my one failure for the day. I think what happens is if I get off my schedule I get hungry and too hungry leads to more eating. Last night I had my massage appointment at 6 — so we rushed home from work — exchanged cars I took off over to my mom’s to pick up something — then drop some DVD’s off at the library - then to my appointment. I was supposed to see my chiroprator after the massage but he was running late and I would have been sitting there until almost 7:30 — so I made an appointment for next week. I drove over to McD’s (I get the salad) and by the time I did get home it was after 7 — I ate my salad — thought I was ok but started to prowl - oh well. Today is a new day.

Hello Journal here I am back with my first entry for 2008. Calories for 01/02 were about 1850 which is within the target range. I am pleased to report that I have my “test” jeans on today — these are the ones with very little forgiveness if I gain weight and look great at my lightest — not there yet but could be close with a bit of extra work LOL. Believe it or not I am also not too upset over a “fat” realization yesterday. We are leaving for Maui next Saturday and while I was investigating some activities I decided that Maui would be the perfect place to attempt my desire to do a Zipline. I had it worked out into our itinerary until I really checked the website. They have a weight limit of 250 pounds — I know I am not 250 but I am close enough to feel uncomfortable during check in. I have no desire to do that to myself - I would be beyond mortified if I got there and was refused. So even though I might be 15 - 20 pounds lighter than the maximum I am taking a miss. But on the bright side I found other activities I just have to see if there is availability — I will report once I know I can do the booking LOL.
