Calories for 12/12 2029 Ok so I was able to ignore the chocolate but we had cheese at the meeting yesterday and I can’t ignore cheese. I don’t have it often — never buy it for my home but I LOVE cheese, I had brie, cheddar, swiss — all tolled about 3 oz which isn’t a lot but packs a huge calorie whomp!!! I didn’t feel too bad about it - -had a fabulous ab class. My friend is giving up her teaching for a while (she has some health issues) so she decided to work us double hard for her last official class and WORK us she did. Laughed like heck there were two first time guys in the class — as usual I didn’t really look to see how they were doing — I know she had to keep telling them to slow down. But we were using the ball for many of the floor exercises and I kept hearing them drop and roll away. Had to give them credit for trying though.

My disclaimer if you aren’t reading this blog on 3FC it has been copied by scumbags. Calories for 12/11 1696 another good day. I decided to go easy in the evening — I should have had my salad but I wasn’t that hungry and just having the piece of chicken felt like enough for dinner. No classes yesterday but I was able to move around a bit with my job — which is always a good thing. Although I had purchased Turtles for the office and last night near the end of the evening they kept calling to me. I was just about to have one (total 90 calories) when my sweetie came upstairs. He wouldn’t care whether I ate it or not and I knew I had some calorie room but I was almost relieved he stopped me (unbeknownst to him LOL). I just walked away and never gave them another thought. Although they are here in the office now but I have them in a tin that I don’t identify with the chocolates so its pretty much an out of sight out of mind thing.

For anyone out there thinking of cutting and pasting my personal blog this is how I plan to start all my blogs until you leave me alone.

My personal blog and belongs only on the 3FC website — if you are reading this elsewhere some scum has stolen my words.  Calories for 12/10 1967 combine that with a fabulously intense latin dance cardio class for 40 minutes and that was one heck of a Day 1 !!!!! Made sure I didn’t go crazy with calories — as you can see I was just a shade under the 2000 but the class burned close to 400 if my calculations are correct. It just feels good to do this right. Of course I still haven’t stocked the house with tons of goodies — nor do I intend to. Last year I did baking — my sweetie doesn’t eat any of it — I dont’ really have many people over and those that do come over I will just buy what I need before.

Calories for 12/07 1906 it was a busy day and I started it off correctly (after a few false starts LOL). Took the day off so that I could take my mom to an appointment. Got up early had my breakfast and after my sweetie left for work I was going to do an exercise DVD. Went to use the one in the TV room — its on its last legs and gave up on Friday, so I thought to myself “self use the DVD player on your computer”. Problem with that is I was too cheap when I bought this computer three years ago to order a DVD player. No prob go for plan C - -try sweetie’s computer. Ackkk he is running stuff on his computer and I didn’t want to interfer and I have no idea what to do to get his DVD player working in Manland. So I ended up putting my walking CD in the stereo and proceeded to walk around my house like crazy for 30 minutes LOL good thing no one could look in. So at the end of the day I am now at 18 successful days!!!!!
Ahhh but it all crashed down on 12/08 calories for that day were at least 2300 possibly a bit higher. Did well all day — we even went for an hour walk in the afternoon (lovely sunny day). But I ate the wrong meat for dinner — was supposed to be for my sweetie but he wanted something different - so I scarfed it down. Then I had my salad and for no good reason helped myself to two of the mini desserts I had in the fridge for Sunday’s dinner. Was my tummy upset with me!!! I wasn’t feeling too horrid but my tummy sure let me know that it wasn’t too fond of all the fat and stuff it had inside - - stuff I wasn’t used to eating. So was the 8th day 19 NOPE but today is day 1. I am extremely proud to make it all the way to Day 18. There is a good week of exercise coming up and I am convincing myself that doing the exercise DVD’s while I am off over Christmas would be the best gift I could give myself.

Day 17 — YAY ME!!!!

Calories for 12/05 1767 another good day. I worked hard to ensure the calories were under again and I also had a fabulous ab workout class. Halfway through the class I was thinking if only I could do this for myself every day - how beneficial it would be for everything. Not just weight loss. The euphoria I feel as I am doing a tough move with weights is incredible. I am a long way from super fit but I know for someone my size I am in pretty good shape physically. I may wear a large size but I am able to keep up with most of the class — except the plank — I dread the plank LOL. I only have one more week of classes then we break for Christmas — now I have to find a way to motivate myself to get to the gym and do some sort of a work out and during my 11 days at home to put on the many workout DVD’s I own and actually get moving in the mornings. I HAVE TO for my own sake!!!

Calories for 12/04 1629 — not even sure how that happened but rather pleased seeing how I didn’t haul my carcass over to the gym. No excused on Wed - I have my fab ab class that I LOVE to go to. Not much else to say — watched what I ate — thrilled with the calories and no headaches not sure why one day was so bad and the other was fine.

Day 15 - just about didn’t make it

Calories for 12/03 1873 had my worse day ever eating wise — not that I ate bad but I was lacking some calories — not sure what was the reason but by 3:00 I had a raging headache. It was so bad I couldn’t even drag myself over to the gym. I had more water but it didn’t help. Unfortunately we couldn’t go straight home. We had to take my new engagement ring to the jewellers - one of the diamonds was cracked and had to be replaced. So I get in the car at 5 when my sweetie picks me up and I am just about on the floor with hunger. I thought there might have been a stray bag of Thinsations in the glove box. I opened the box and out tumbled several of my sweet and salt nut bars (170 calories thank you LOL). It was the most beautiful sight!!! I scarfed one down before we even left the campus and within a few minutes my headache lifted and I felt 100% better. I hate that my body turns on me like this when I don’t eat the right amount of calories. From 5:30 in the morning until 5 in the evening I had ingested about 1000 calories and I couldn’t even move. What that also brought on was the desire to graze and eat all evening. I didn’t do it — I had my salad when I got home, a bit of chicken nuggets and a mocha. After that I was totally full and no desire to eat anything.

Ok I feel frikken good about this.  Calories for 11/30 1783 12/01 1965 12/02 1712. Had probably a perfect weekend, accomplished a lot on Saturday. Got up early went to the mall, bought a couple of gifts, new boots for me (old ones were 12 years old). Helped my mom bring up her decorations from her locker, dropped off some coats and blankets for a donation drive to help the homeless and then did the weekly grocery shopping. It was snowing and we spend the rest of the weekend cleaning, getting out the decorations and just really enjoying each other’s company. Totally delightful weekend. I ate well on Saturday kept things just under the 2000 range and was so pleased with Sunday’s calories. I am really feeling in control this time — food is not ruling me I am ruling the food and its GREAT!!!!
