I am trying to be positive today but I lost my little chihuahua this morning after 12 years and it is sssooooo hard!!! I rescued him from an abuse situation when he was about 6 months old and he repaid me with 12 years of love and devotion.
As of today I have lost 2 pounds…probably from crying endlessly!
Hope everyone has a great day and is looking with great expectations to the new year!!!
God bless!!
Judy

Thank you ladies SO VERY MUCH!! Even when you know it is time and the right thing to do it is still very hard.
Haven’t made it out to his grave yet…hubby is annoyed because he worked so hard to make it nice…but I am not at the point where I can go out there yet!!!!
OMG….seriously, my heart just popped out of my mouth. i had a male chihuahua named cody that i had to surrender to an adoption agency about 9 yrs ago b/c my husband walked out on us. my son was 4 and my daughter was 6 mo. (cody was 4 as well, born in may of 1995). i had to give cody up b/c my daughter had severe asthma. my daughter and i spent new years eve in the hospital in 2001. i held an oxygen mask to her tiny face b/c she couldn’t breathe and was not in good condition. i couldn’t bear the stress of husband leaving, a sick child and mountains of debt piling up. it just wasn’t fair to keep cody locked in a crate all day so i decided to surrender him. it was the toughest decision i ever made. he wasn’t abused though. he was dearly loved and i think about him all the time. i even check the humane society to see if he shows up so i can get him back. may i ask? what city are you in? could this possibly be the same cody? please let me know, it would mean so much to me.
