I have to say, that sometimes I even amaze myself! I have not NOT exercised one day in 9 or 10? I don’t know I’d have to look… but its up there! AND… I am noticing results. My belly is definitely not as bumpy and my back rolls, those lovely things, appear less. The scale read 281 this morning… so thats 4 total! Whooohoooo
Yesterday I did my Slim in 6 Start it Up and then my plans for a trip south for groceries fell through. After K declined a walk/hike, D didn’t answer and N was home sick with kids; I decided to try the p90x yoga extreme. It’s 90 min long. O…M…G…
I didn’t make it all the way thru the first half… only about 20 min worth. Then I laid there watching in awe lol. Any idea how hard it is to go from downward dog, to upward dog to plank, swing your leg high in the air and pull it thru to a runners pose? Well lets just say, I cannot do it LOL I half assed it cause face it, I am not that strong nor that limber… and after adding the warrior pose, backward warrior and repeating over and over and over… not only was I sweating like a pig but my legs just said ENOUGH! The second half was balance and more on the ground yoga… THAT I did and finished. So all in all I did about 60 min of yoga.
Then I passed out for a 4 hour nap!
This morning I was still feeling the yoga stretching pains/aches so I did a nice 17 min limber/stretch routine and then 12 minutes of Ab workout. Not as much but I will walk to the football game tonight and get a bit more in later.
Can I just say that I am now officially addicted to the burn from these workouts? I LOVE the feeling of my muscles aching and the stretch/burn you get from it all. And to see the results in the mirror and on the scale, even just a little bit…. is SO GREAT!! I feel so accomplished! Like I can do anything! And to think 2 weeks ago I said to N… yeah I don’t like exercise either and I don’t understand how people get so into it!
Ha… I’m hooked. And I love it
