New Week
March 29th, 2009
Last week was a bust as I ended up with the stomach flu or something. This week I am challenging myself to using the WiiFit 5 times and going for at least 3–15 min walks. Doesn’t sound like much but I have seriously been a couch potato all winter and need to build back up to a decent amount of activity.
Brsesay had asked about what I do on the Wii Fit…
I like the balance games because I definately have issues so I feel that I get a benefit out of those. My fave right now is the tightrope. I finally made it across on the easiest level but I am sure that it is going to take some practice to get back to that again. I also have been trying out the strength training exercises. Definately make sure there is plenty of room around you because I knocked down a snack table doing a torso twist move.
Dinners for next week are planned out through Thursday…
- Homemade Chicken and Dumplings
- Grilled Chicken and roasted veggies
- Soup and sandwiches
- Chuck roast with veggies
- Tuna broccoli casserole
- Not sure for Friday and Saturday yet
Anyhow… better get moving…need to get something done today and also have to get some work done.
