end of week 53

Yesterday’s Weight= 298.8

Today’s Weight= 298.4

This weeks’ gain= +1.4 lbs

I took my 5 yr old to see the 3D double feature of Toy Story and Toy Story 2. A bunch of calories, 3 hours, and $43 later, I’m a little disappointed. The movie was cute and nice to see on the big screen since I didn’t when it first came out years ago. Each time I see a 3D movie, though, I’m left wanting more cool effects.

    We considered going to that last weekend but I doubted my son would last sitting that long :) Isn’t it sad how expensive it is to go to the movies??

    I took a group of kids to the 3D G Force this summer and was shocked at how spendy going to the movies has become. We mainly watch DVDs and if we do go to the movies it’s just the 2 of us so I don’t pay attention, but I imagine it’s not feasible for families to do very often.

    Movie popcorn… is one of the things I really miss however.
