Looked up Piet Hein…the name sounds like “my” kind of name, a relative maybe? But he’s not. He was Danish no? And brilliant (like you, lovey). Grooks? Gruk in Danish. In Dutch, I think, the word for joke is grappe…it’s kind of close. A poem that is at once deep and also funny, so you would remember it? (I’m wondering?)
