September 5 - not too bad
I did have sprouts for breakfast. I found them okay to eat, but felt queasy afterwards. Maybe it is something else which was bothering me.
S (my trainer) changed my workout routine today. Had a tough time learning the new stuff. I had tons of trouble keeping the postures. Mostly could not.
S is really patient.
Isn’t it so very fortunate for me to have him in my life now? Remembered a zen proverb -
When the pupil is ready to learn, a teacher will appear!
Was rather tired after the workout. Maybe my stamina is down due to the remnants of my cold. S was talking about me taking protein supplements. Don’t know though if he was joking.
Anyway, I feel it would make losing weight still more difficult.
I had a glass of milk before going to gym. Breakfast was good with sprouts and orange juice. Had a tiny portion of nuts and raisins afterwards. Lunch again was 3 chapatis and a bowl of curry - complex carbohydrates but carbs nevertheless. Snacks - BAD again - masala dosa - rice pancake with potato filling. Dinner - 3 chapatis, a bowl of mixed veg curry (good) and a small piece of cake. No after dinner snacking. However did not eat my apple again today. I had 3 litres of water.
I think I will try to eat more salad and I notice there is almost no protein. Also need to make the evening snacks more healthy. But that’s the time, my whole team eats together everyday. It’s tough to say no and I feel like letting go that once. I hate fruits so much.
I should slowly work on it.
Today’s point - need to concentrate on being able to do more squats and hold, in a slow speed. need to eat more salads and protein.
Today’s weight 70.2 kg. Total workout - 60+ mins.

Don’t fear the protein supplements. Assuming you get the kind with no sugar and very little fat (e.g., Next nutrition’s Designer Whey), they’re just an easy way to add protein to your diet. No magic, but no fuss, either.
If you’re counting calories or points you have to account for the supplements, of course, but that’s not hard. One serving of Designer Whey has 90-100 calories, depending on the flavor, which isn’t much to carve away elsewhere.
I find that eating protein makes me build muscle faster and also makes me feel fuller than if I ate the same # of calories in carbs. Both are good things if you’re trying to lose fat and inches. Kim

I remember that proverb. It rings so true, which is probably how it got to be a proverb in the first place!
Thank you for your kind words on my blog!
Seems like you are doing very well. The exercise alone sounds pretty serious! Good for you!
Good Wishes, RubyJean
