My body seems to be not budging but I do feel sore in certain areas of my body. I also feel stronger and more toned. I know I’m eating right and being smart about portion sizes so I’m not going to give up.
This happened last year too before my body gave in

It seems to be going down again. I upped exercise yesterday doing both CardioX and KenpoX on the P90X. I also followed up with Just Dance 3 for about 30 minutes on the kinect.
When I watched TV at night, I used my weighted hula hoop to work my core area.
Eating has been on plan and smart portions. I’ve been cutting back on carbs especially at night. I need it during the day for my workouts.
I feel my arms slightly sore and my thighs slightly sore so that’s a good sign.

Weight seems to be fluctuating around 132-134 the last few days. I know I’ll break through this though. I think my body is just getting settled into the new routine. I remember it took me a while to get into the 120s but I will not give up. If I got there once, I will get there again.
I’ve aimed to do at least 45 minutes of exercise a day and I’m hoping to up it to more.
Another thing that seems to be working is a very small dinner. I don’t like going to bed on a full stomach so I’m quite content to eat he bulk of my food earlier on in the day.
I recently joined pinterest and it’s SO addicting
so I’ve been absorbed in that.

Who is everyone cheering for? My bf’s team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers so we’re slightly impartial. He does prefer the Patriots over the Giants though.

Yesterday I under-ate because most of the day was spent outside. Lunch my 11 y/o brother wanted Olive Garden so we went for him. I ordered their salad and had two platefuls of it minus cheese. I also ate 3 stuffed mushrooms and one bite of beef from my brother’s plate.
Breakfast was 4 oat pancakes with fresh fruit (full of protein and so yummy!)
Dinner I had a cup of coffee before heading out to watch a hockey game. I stole one chip from my brother’s nacho plate but I was good about not eating anything else. I was starving by the time we got home but it was already 10 pm. I took a shower and went to bed.
I don’t recommend undereating because by the end of the night I felt like scowling at the world.
Today I’m resuming healthy portion sizes again. ![]()

I don’t know what I’m doing but my body seems to be responding. I did weigh myself Monday after I ate breakfast and drank tea so I know it’s a lot of extra water weight. That being said, being so close to the 120s has me giddy and motivated.
I definitely want to be firmly in the 120s by March when I visit my sister in NYC. I’m hoping for mild weather so I can rock cute outfits instead of being bundles up like an Eskimo.
That being said, nowadays I feel so darn cold all the time. I remember in college in PA, I could rock flip-flops and sweatshirt/jeans and walk around in the dead of winter to grab something from the store. Now I live in Florida, I can’t stand even a little cold.
I think I’m lacking in more insulation.

I don’t know what’s gotten into my body but this week the weight has been steadily coming off. I did just finish my period and I’m really watching what I’m eating so I won’t complain.
When I visit NYC in March to see a bunch of girls I knew in college, I want to be firmly in the mid 120s. I have a little more than a month to get this done. I have a great feeling.
Tonight I’m having a dinner party at the house. It’s the first time we’ve had such a large group since we bought the house in September. I’m going all out and planning a Greek-inspired feast.
Because of that I’ve been in a cleaning frenzy since Monday. There’s much to do but it’s kept me active and moving.
My jeans are feeling looser again. It was super tight during the holidays. Goodbye fat/water retention!

It seems like my body is responding to my healthy eating and exercising. I’m going to NYC in March to visit my sister who lives in the Upper East Side. A group of girlfriends from college will be visiting too and it’s motivation for me to look my best.
I want to be in the 120s by then if not lower than my lowest last year (~126). It is a stretch because the last pounds are harder to lose but I don’t want to use that as an excuse.
I want to give it my all and see where it takes me.
We’re having people over Thursday for dinner approximately 8 people-10 (depending on if they bring their significant others) and I’ve come up with a Greek menu plan.
When people visit, I clean MORE than usual. I keep the house orderly and clean on a weekly basis but when I know I’ll have visitors, I turn up my OCD mode.
Yesterday I organized my pantry, my bf couldn’t tell the difference but then again I’m the only one who ventures there. The kitchen is my domain and now the pantry is organized in a way that makes sense to me.
I also vacuumed and steamed the floors yesterday on top of some P90X CardioX. I also did laundry.
Today the plan on the cleaning front is to rake leaves, sweep the front of the house, and mow it. Before then I want to get some Yoga in and a run around the neighborhood. Staying fit is definitely on my mind

Do you guys have a time of day you weigh yourself? Mine is always immediately after I wake up after I pee.
I didn’t weigh myself yesterday until after I had breakfast, coffee and tea so the difference is explainable.
So a girl tagged me on some pictures from last weekend. I thought I looked cute going out but in the pictures I’m not so much. I love it when someone else is holding the camera because the pictures are so much more honest. You can’t angle yourself especially in candids. I had a few candids in that album so I had myself from all angles. Great information for myself but not so much for my self-esteem.
I thought I was ok with the gain until I saw it translated in photos.
I’m super motivated now to head towards my goal of 120 (and see where I want to go from there).
Thanks for all the support. Reading other people’s blogs really keeps me focused too.
Stepped on the scale

After months of avoiding the scale, I finally stepped on it.
CW: 135.2 lbs
SW: 192.5 lbs
GW: < 125
This may not seem like a lot but my lowest in April was about 126.5 lbs so I have gained a bit since then. Slowly but surely I will get back to the 120s! Super motivated after jumping on the scale.
Exercise has been great recently because I’ve been motivating myself with good music. I aim for 45 minutes minimum a day of exercise. My jeans feel looser so I can only imagine what my weight was end of December before I came back from my Asia trip.

Not so cold tolerant anymore.

I used to be so resistant to the cold when I attended college in PA. I remember back in the day when I would don a hoodie, jeans and flip flops in the middle of the winter. I was more hot than cold. Now that I’m fitter and smaller, I find myself buried under blankets and layers while sipping hot tea.
My friends up north are probably scoffing at Florida being “cold” but we’re having a cold front right now with freeze warnings in certain parts. My weather is only in the high 40s (58 this afternoon) but I still find myself chilly. We’re back to low 70s this weekend though.
I hope everyone is staying warm!
It’s day 4 of eating on plan. I’m not feeling very hungry at night (probably due to jet lag). My largest meal of the day is lunch.
Everyone seems to be trying to get healthy in the new year. I hope everyone keeps it up!
