I can’t seem to budge the scale. I’m happy that I’m holding steady, but I’d rather hold steady at a much lower weight.
The good news is, my mind isn’t playing those tricks on me that it likes to play. You know the ones, “You might as well eat if this is all you’re going to get for your efforts,” or “Maybe you need to have a pig out day to shock your system.” Nope. So far, my mind has been satisfied with not gaining and riding out the plateau.
Fingers crossed for next week.

I have certain weights that my body just seems to LOVE to stay at. And I have a body that goes through many plateaus. I know it’s hard to stay the course, but it’s really good practice for maintenance (all that effort for no movement on the scale!)
And sometimes we have to wake up to reality that the effort that brings us to a certain weight isn’t enough to move to the next level of weight. You may need to change calories or exercise to get further.
Hang in there!
