I never actually got around to stating this as a goal, but I’m down to a 14W in jeans. Doesn’t that translate to a 16 in regular sizes?!??! I bought a few new tops yesterday too - all from the regular department! Yay!
I’m so inspired by this show. I’ve watched every season (although some of them I saw in rerun form) as well as a few seasons of the Australian version.
Exercise continues to be my biggest challenge. I go on short little jags where I’m totally on track, but I am easily thrown off track by weather, pain, illnesses, work, to do lists, etc. It doesn’t take much of an excuse to get me off the exercise wagon (I think I’ve probably got one foot hanging off at all times anyway).
So it helps to watch these people with so much weight to lose actually push themselves so far in the gym. It also helps that they do it regardless of how much excess chub bounces, swings, and shakes around. I ordered a new sports bra this week. If nothing else, maybe my hubby can use it as a slingshot to get my behind off the couch. ![]()
Loving Nutrisystem!! I hit the 50 pound mark this week. WooHOO!!
I’m loving Nutrisystem so far! It’s so nice to have a different variety of foods to choose from, and even nicer that so many of them include chocolate!
I was down 4.5 pounds my first week. It feels so very good to be back on the losing side of things after mostly maintaining for so long.
Even though I’ve maintained my weight loss since I’ve been off HMR, I want to lose the rest of this mess. I decided to join Nutrisystem. It seems to have everything I liked about HMR, but with more variety and an online support group!
It was really that I felt my mind kind of going off track a little, and that scared me. I need my head to be in the right place. I’m feeling good that I was aware of the thought changes taking place and jumped right in to do something about it.
Just the act of doing something seems to have made a difference in my head, and my food hasn’t even arrived yet!
I haven’t been very chatty lately because there has been little to chat about. I am holding firmly in the 180’s. I’m hoping that the impending cooler weather will inspire me to get off the couch more.
I did get to go to an industry conference recently and was quite excited about how many people noticed my weight loss!
I haven’t been posting my weigh in results because they’ve been stagnant. I’ve been ok with that though. I’ve been enjoying where I am. Regular sized clothes, fitting in any booth anywhere, and friends not recognizing me without a minute to think.
It’s a good place to stand for a bit, but I’m feeling ready to move the needle down a bit on the scale again. I think I have to face the fact that this WILL mean some exercise. <sigh>

I’ve skipped mini goal #4 for the moment because it’s too hot to participate in an outdoor walk here. I’ve been walking, I’ve just been walking in nice cool antique malls.
However, I’ve met mini goal #5. Size 16W jeans are on! As a side note, so are those size 18 regular sized jeans. Yay! I can shop at any old store now!!
