I am eating the rest of my cultiva fro yo as I write this is that bad, that I am eating while writing my food blog. lol

6:30ish: I think I ate something but I don’t remember what, just like some cereal or something.

9ish: finished rories scrambled eggs and toast.  (just a few bites of each).

10:30: fruit salad, carrot salad, yogurt, granlola, 2 granola bars Yummy

12:30: a few slices of chedder cheese, 1 piece yummy whole wheat bread from farmers market, sugar snap peas (super yummy from farmers market).

4ish: some almonds, apple

7ish: whole wheat small pizza (3 slices, really small), I got the crush from farmers market, added motzerella, parm, tomatoes, peppers and basil, super yummy, fruit salad, water.

9ish: about 1/2 cup fro yo left over from the other day. 

Exercise: Walk to park and back, then super house cleaning!

Maybe more sleep would help my food choices

So I am going to start this out by saying that tomorrow will be my last food entry for at least a week.  I just don’t do good with writing stuff down, it stresses me out and then I think I eat worse.  I will continue to make heathy choices but, I just won’t write it down, I will still log my exercise.  I have never been on a diet in my life, it just isn’t me. So I am going to keep making healthy choices (like I always have been) and stay on my quest to eat foods that are healthy and have natural ingrediants, keep cutting down on packaged foods and eating more foods with out barcodes!

6:00am: cheerios and milk, water

10:00am: 2 small cinamin rolls because I was starving when I stopped at my moms to pick her up for farmers market.

10:30: went to farmers market, lots of yummy fruits, veggies, got egss and bread too.  Didn’t eat anything though (not even popcorn).

12:30: lunch, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoe sandwich on wheat bread at my moms, a few pieces, apple & peach, water.

2:00ish: apple

5:00: starving again, picked Sean up for work and we went for Pizza so we could concentrate on cleaning when we got home and not making dinner/cleaning up dinner.  Had 1/2 calazone (chicken, pesto, onion) & 1/2 salad.  water

8:00 Yummy healthyish frozen yogurt from cultiva (I think thats what it was called ) in Davis.  It is frozen yogurt same style shop as Big Spoon but more healthy yogurt options.  All their yogurt still has the pro-biotics (hence the name) and they sweeten naturally (whatever that means, lol).  Oh but I didn’t choose healthy orginal tart with fruit.  I went for cookies n cream with cookies on top.  Although next time I am picking strawberry tart, Rorie had this one and it was awsome. 

 

Friday Oct. 9 2009 all I can say is… In & Out

7:30 ish breakfast: Organic, sweetened w/ fruit juice corn flakes, milk, a small glass juice/water. 

11ish: 1/2 apple (the rest I shared with a worm apparently, I guess you have to share with worms sometimes when you eat organic.

12ish: whole weat bagle, strawberry cream cheese while writing reports

3ish: about 5 slices of chedder cheese, some peanut butter and chocolate chips.

6:30ish one of Kates yummy cookies

7:30ish In and OUt cheese burger and frieds and water (well at least skipped the soda)  So funny thing, I often crave in and out (the only fast food I will eat) and french fries then I eat and I am like why do I crave that and that is how I felt today. 

Snack: remains to be seen and tasted.

Exercise: a bit of yoga with my students

Thurs. and I don’t know what day of the week it is. lol

This morning: yo baby yogurt with some muslix, super small glass water/oj

From 10am-2pm: Um like 3 bagles, cream cheese oh and one was cinammin crunch I get extra credit for that one I am sure it has sugar baked right on the outside of it! yummy.  So I brought bagles to a friends house.  Oh and throw in tomato, cucumber, avacado (my favorite bagle sandwich!), a few grapes and a glass of sparkling juice of some sort. 

Dinner: starving (need to eat earlier but I felt like booty so hubby had to make dinner).  7pm, baked chicken tenders with Organic cornflake crust, scalloped potatoes from trader joes box, green beens/broccoli (my contrabution to the meal).

Late night snack: need to get one before bed so I am not starving when Leo wakes up to nurse a few times tonight! 

Exercise: carried kid on back from about an hour while running errands.  I had my period today (sorry TMI) and my pain has been really bad since having Leo (hince not making dinner) so anyway no exercise instead some time chillin on the couch on drugs. 

Wed. Oct. 7th 2009

This will be quick I need to go to bed. 

Breakfast 7:30, cheerios (no milk I was in the car late to work), water

Snack: Apple

1ish Lunch: At work a few ritz crackers ( I buy healthier crackers but I am getting rid of what my husband buys) and like 3 bites of my new favorite chicken salad. 

3ish: a bit more chicen salad and 2 slices bread, butter some grapes

Dinner: 6ish same as 3ish

2nd dinner after bootcamp 9ish: Burrito: a few teeny pieces of steak, Organic refried beens, tortilla, cheese, avacado, tomatoe, water

dessert: Way to much cake, thanks mom but now its gone but seriously I have to eat something sweet at night or I crave it night after night. 

Excercise: Bootcamp: 23 min fast walk, homework series, plyometrics, extra abs/wall sits, stretch. 

Water: not enough

Tuesday Oct. 6th 2009

Breakfast 8ish: homemade organic oatmeal with strawberries & bananas, a dash of milk,  a small squirt of aguave.  Small cup juice/water mix. 

Snack: crackers

Lunch 2:30 (we were shopping, normally I don’t miss a meal):  Chicken salad, 2 slices wheat bread.  I will post the recipe for salad, it was awesome and made with yogurt and lots of fruit/nuts. 

Snack: Apple 4:30ish

Dinner: 6:30ish: Chicken salad, 3 slices wheat bread, steak cut french fries, bit of catsup, 1/4 avocado.

Water: I think only 24oz’s today maybe a little more, I know, I know more water. 

Exercise: Does shopping with Leo on my back in the ergo count??? lol  Okay no exercise, my back/shoulder are hurting I need to go to the chiro, I don’t think it is the workout I think it is lifting kids at work and Leo.  I will stretch tonight.

Chicken salad recipe: Great on bread or alone.  For the record would probably be awsome on a crosiant but ya I know, not the healthiest. 

Waldorf Chicken Salad

Combine:
2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1  apple, cut bite size
2 celery stalks, cut diagonally
1 c. seedless grapes, halved
1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 c. dark seedless raisins or cranberries

Mix together dressing:
1/2 c. plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

I think it would be good with curry powder in the dressing but I was all out.  I basically halfed the recipe (eyeballed everything) and it made a lot over 5 servings. 

Monday Oct. 5 2009

Morning: 7:30am: Small glass OJ/water, Serving homeade Organic Oatmeal, strawberries, bananas a small squirt of aguave nector.  Multi Vitamin, Omega 2, echinecia & Probiotic. 

Taught pre-school APE, lots of lifting, makes my back sore.

12ish Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwich & tomatoes soup from a resturant not a can. It was yummy.

Snacks: Lots of pumpkin cupcakes (they are healthyish but the creamcheese frosting is not).  But they are yummy.  A banana. 

6ish Dinner: 1 piece meat lasgna (it is lean meat from our cow) and made with part wholewheat noodles.  A carrot.  Too lazy to make a salad.

7:15: Bootcamp!

9:00: Ate the last pumpkin cupcake.  Still hungery will eat some protein. 

Water intake today: 48oz.  I am not good a drinking water so for me this is a lot.
