Need to catch up on writing my veggies.

Friday: 5 servings

Snack/lunch: one serving of carrots

Dinner: Okay we had take out from dos coyotes and I was going to go for tacos or burritos but I remembered my veggies and had Sean get me a salud.   It was full of veggies, tasted great, with chicken and I got in my 4 more servings.  Lettuce, carrots, jicama, cabbage, tomatoes, avacado, peppers, beans (can’t remember what else).

Saturday: 5 servings

Lunch: 1 serving sugar snap peas

Dinner: Tacos & salad (homemade this time): 1 serving veggies, 1 tomatoes, 1 avacacdo, 1 carrots/peppers/onions/gabanzo beans/peas

Sunday: 5 servings

Lunch: 1 serving sugar snap peas

Snack: 1/2 serving carrots

Dinner: Taco salad, I know again but I guess I have been craving it, it had been awhile since I made it.  Made with left overs: 1 serving lettuce, 1 serving tomatoes, 1 serving avacado, 1/2 serving carrots/peppers/onions/peas.

Monday: 5 servings

Lunch: 1 serving sugar snap peas, 1 serving avacado

Dinner: 1 serving green peas (w/ roasted chicken which for the record roasted with onions & celerey stuffed in it, does that count?) and potatos.

Snack: Okay trying to get my veggies in: 2 servings sugar snap peas (not a lot of variety but my CSA box comes tomorrow so I will have more veggies again.  I used the last of my carrots in soup broth or I would be munching on them right now.

 Tuesday: Servings: Lots

Lunch/snacks: lots of fruit no veggies though

Dinner: Soup, Soup, Soup: I ate my five plus servings by eating one large bowl each of butternut squash soup (2 servings) and cabbage chicken soup (3 servings)!

Cabbage chicken soup: homemade chicken broth (last nights chicken), 1/2 head of cabbage (I used chinese, but any would work), carrots, onions, celery, bay leaf, potato, chicken, salt/pepper.  yummy!  The cabbage basically takes the place of the noodles, the family loved the soup (great way to sneak  tons of veggies down Rorie) and no one missed the noodles.  Oh except Sean said he wanted thicker soup and I had to explain this soup was ment to be thinner he always says this though, he grew up on stew no soup.  He downed 2 bowls anyway.

Wed: 3-4 veggie servings

Lunch/snack: no veggies

Dinner: Large bowl cabbage chicken soup

Snack: butternut squash soup
