Managed to lose 6 pounds…

So I was at the gym last Wednesday, stepped on the scale, and HOLY ISH! I lost 6 pounds. Hopefully, I’ll lose more this week. I really want to start eating better but I don’t get money for a few days. Right now I don’t work, I get a check from the gov cause I’ve got bipolar disorder. I’m currently in therapy for it and, hopefully, I’ll be able to get a job soon. I plan on paying Akron U, whom I owe about five thousand dollars, off so that way I can go back in 2013. I plan on taking this year to work on my weight loss since I have the opportunity and then, next year, I plan on getting a job. Anyhoo, I can’t wait for tomorrow. I get to go back to the gym. YAY!!! I’m not very good at the gym, though. I mean, I can only do thirty minutes on a treadmill at 2.5 mph but still it’s something. I also do a little bit of weight training. I’m going to try to do better though. My thoughts are kinda jumbled right now from being tired and being on my period so I’mma get off here. Just wanted to check in. TTFN

My name is Elizabeth and I am overweight. At twenty years old, I weigh a ridiculous 368 pounds. I can’t really pinpoint one specific cause of my obesity, it’s more like a lot of little things. One of the biggest factors though is emotional eating. I can remember doing this even when I was a little girl. I was never a skinny kid. Heck, I weighed 215 pounds at ten years old but my weight problem just seemed to get bigger and bigger. I lose weight only to gain it all back and then some. So yesterday I talked to my doctor about bariatric surgery. She was totally on board with it so that’s what I have decided to do. I’ll be posting my daily food diary, highlights from the day, progress pictures, and weigh-ins here. Well, it’s 7:00 on a Saturday and I’m exhausted but I don’t really want to go back to sleep so I think I’ll go do the dishes that have been sitting for a while. TTFN.
