Molly is adorable and definitely is in possession of some big old feet!

Do you metric people really use all those tenths and thousandths of a weight? I wondered, when converting for you, how many numbers to place behind the decimal. LOL!

I agree for the most part about trainers. Many are in a super power position, people look to them in times of desperation and that has to be an ego inflating place to be. A good trainer would examine the current diet, their client's personality, get to know them and then customize a plan. Unfortunately, with larger gyms, that's a rarity.

For instance, my trainer's husband own the gym we train at. He has a diet plan that he charges $400.00 per consultation for. People flock to him in droves, forking over money. Few have succeeded, but only because the plan happened to suit them.

He dislikes me, intensely. He's jealous of my success and resents that I don't need his help. He's one of those who gets off on his 'high' position. I don't need him or his diets, and have always made that clear.

The problem with his master plan is that it's HIS. It allows no modifications for individual needs.

You're spot on about finding what suits oneself.

Trainers are mostly dumb meatheads. Blah!

Be your friend's diet adviser, if it doesn't step on her toes. Go over the trainer's plan together and modify it to suit her. She could use your help it sounds like!

Hi! Thanks to Eileen (again, she proves to be a good source of information like so many others on 3FC) I've finally captured the Ghost. I don't think you have to be logged in for your link to show up.. maybe. But this might work permanently and only takes a minute. I've helped a couple others get it working for them. I'm starting to feel like the 3FC computer geek. :D

If you go to Site Admin, then in the upper right hand corner click your user name (probably iconisedghost). Scroll down to contact info and paste your link http://3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs/iconisedghost/ in the website box. click update profile.

Your kitty is cute and looks like a rascal. Lucky you with the beach near the gym. Would be nice to get in a good workout, skip the shower, head to the beach for a quick swim and then lay out in the sun! I don't know g and kgs much, too bad we can't all be brought up on the same weights and measurements and languages! Maybe one day everyone will understand everyone, after all we all know what Love is.

Keep up the self reflection, gaining of knowledge and trial and error to find what works for you! I can say this, if it weren't for my gym membership and regular exercise there, I would've gave up on this a LONG time ago, like week 3. I'm now at almost 11 weeks and 20 lbs. Best of luck to you!
