Hugs are something I miss a lot living in France. In America we hug (although most other PDA is out). In France it’s considered really intimate and a bit sexual - you only hug your significant other.
My husband humors me, but I miss hugging my mom, sister and friends. The little French air kisses on the cheeks just don’t do it for me…
really? now that i think about it, i have never seen anyone hug someone other than their significant other in a French setting. Not that ive ever been to France, but evevryone knows what you see in the movies is the truth that must suck, so they dont even hug their families? Thats an interesting culture difference
yeah…hugs from creepy strangers is kind of nasty, i always worry that they are just trying to feel me up I think hugs need to have good timing otherwise they do feel awkward. But the more you have, the better they feel!
I cant take credit for the photo, i just was lucky enough to google it and find it
I'm 22 years old, living in New Zealand. 165 cm tall (around 5'5''), starting weight was 85kg (187 pounds), now down to 64kg. My goal is around 60-55kg, but that may change- we'll see when we get there!

I kind of shy away from hugs from strangers, especially strangers with dirty hair and raincoats on. LOL!
My family wasn’t a huggy family, so hugs always feel a bit awkward to me. I want to love them, but I feel almost fake doing it.
But I like your hug photo and the sentiment behind it!
