<description>interesting ponderings...i dont know if i am more active now, its very possible that i am and i just dont notice. I do find that things are less difficult, maybe this encourges me to do them more...I definately do things with more vigour

exercise is kinda a prize isnt it...or a right that we have had to earn back. it makes it that much sweeter in my opinion

My weight loss is also based on vanity :D and i worry about my heart and lungs &#62;.&#60; I want to enjoy exercise, i want to have all the flash exercise gadgets and outfits, i want to look like i know what im doing when i exercise. Weight loss just cant fill that for me either.

Rum and coke was yum :D first drink in aaaaaaages. Like, since july it must have been</description>

<description>"I presume that as the fat cat loses weight it will naturally exercise more."

I think it does apply to people to though. The cat will play more, freak out in the middle of the night tackling socks and such. I think people do too, whether they're aware of it or not. Neither cats nor people necessarily have to apply dedicated workout time to exercise more.

I'd bet if you compare your current lifestyle to that last year you can see that you are naturally more active now.

"...if someone offered you the chance to lose weight without having exercise, would you take it?"

I don't really think the exercise effects my weight loss all that much, it DOES - but it's not the reason I'm losing weight. The healthy eating and controlled calories are. But I'm not willing to experiment.

Because of my drastic weight loss I've always worried about loose skin, looking like a melted candle girl. So no, I wouldn't take the weight loss without exercise. I don't want to look like an empty trash bag.

The exercise for me is kind of a bonus gift for weight loss. It's something I couldn't have done before, I had let myself go that much. So I look at it as a prize.

"Perhaps losing weight is not enough of a goal, not meaningful enough? "

I guess it depends on the individual. For me the weight loss is not enough to keep me going for a lifetime, mainly because it's based on vanity. I won't be young forever. Total fitness is - becoming a fit machine. That's something I can deal with forever because if I start to neglect the clean eating, the weight lifting - I would lose my physique I'm working so hard for.

So a killer action figure physique is my goal, you know? I can't get that just by dieting, it requires a lifestyle.
