I should be on vacation right NOW. We were suppose to be on vacation starting Saturday. We rented a cottage for a week on a lake up north but had not cancel due to my hubby’s terrible wiffle ball accident that involved a trip to the ER and no pay for 4 or 5 weeks. He is back to work now but no family vacation this summer. Bummer - I could use at least a couple days away.
Driving into to work this morning its cool and rainy - what a nice morning to wake up too on vacation. I could sit and drink a whole pot of coffee and read a book. There is always next year.
I did NOTHING all day yesterday. I had two days of rest in a row. Last week was 5 days in a row for working out and two days off. This week will be the same. I will keep plugging along on my exercise and trying to fix my eating habits. Breakfast this morning is one Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal and 1/4 cup cherries all mixed up last night and put in the fridge. I can’t wait to try it. I saw it…wait for it……ON THE INTERNET so it has to be good. It said you can make it and it will keep for up to 3 days. It took all of about 3 minutes to mix together. Kinda looks like this except I did not get too fancy with the cut up fruit. Just tossed it in and stired it all up and put a lid on it.
If it’s good and sticks with me until lunch I can make a few up at a time and just grab and go. I see on line there are some different variations of it too. Might have to try some.
Today is training day with the C25K group. Looking forward to the run tonight. Weather is going to be nice and cool. I hope somone shows up to run with me but if they don’t I will still do it. I am going to have to figure out what to do starting next week. Football practice starts and I have to have to boy to practice by 5:30 each night. Might be hard to do with my C25K trainings on Mondays and Wednesdays and Spin class on Thursdays. I wish his practice started at 6:00 - would make my life easier.
