why did i wait so long?

99lbs! IVE LOST 99LBS!!! one more freaking pound!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why oh why couldn’t that scale have said 205? so, if you haven’t guessed it already, I weigh 206 today. 206…ugh

technically my weigh in day is saturday, but i couldn’t wait. now I wish I would have. maybe tomorrow will be different.  we shall see.

brseay and eileen…. I love the spin classes and I do take them often. Usually at least 3 times a week. I started taking them in November and became addicted to them. The first couple were very hard and I was very sore afterword.  I think I like them so much because they challenge me. The music is loud, and most of the people in the class are very fit which keeps me motivated. The spin classes go by pretty fast and I always feel like I got a great work out every time I do them. I recommend them to anyone. Eileen you can go at your own pace. I think you would like it.  Eileen you are right It’s much better to like what you do. I hope DH enjoys this new career too. He use to like installing windows, but the spark is just gone now. Plus the economy sucks for construction workers, so I think (hope) its the right move.  Meg….we love hells kitchen!! actually just got done watching it.  thanks everyone for your comments.

Today we went shoping for DS birthday presents. His party is tuesday (since i work the weekend) we got him a bike and a few other things. I think he’ll be happy.  I did 90 minutes at the gym and stayed on plan. I was hungrier than usual today. Just couldn’t get satisfied for some reason. Just one of those days.

B- fruit smoothie with nonfat greek yogurt

S- 100cal popcorn

L-honey nut cheerios with light soy milk, salad with sunflower seed, italian dressing

S- protein shake after workout

S- skinny latte (starbucks)

D- subway 6inch turkey/roast beef on wheat

S- weight watchers ice cream cup

I tried sterlings protein shake today. It was yummy. Did my 90 min spin circuit class. She had us doing boot camp moves. Im sore tonight! I dont have much to say , so i will just write out my food for the day. I felt like I ate a lot, but it only came out to be about 1300 cals. I did get more protein though :D

B- cheerios with light soy milk

L- shrimp and asparagus (lots of it)

S- protein shake

D- salad with sunflower seeds, spinach, italian dressing and salmon

S- chobani greek yogurt with peaches

well, there went my 2 weeks of no cheating.  Im proud that I lasted that long though. Its the longest Ive gone without a cheat since I started last april. Today was my middle child’s birthday. He turned 8 today. We aren’t having his party until next week. We did take him out to eat and let him pick the place. He picked olive garden.  I couldn’t stay on plan at that place. I wont list out what I ate, but i’ll tell you what, it was very yummy!!  I do feel like I over did it just a bit. I have that too full feeling. So, now my goal is to make it until easter without cheating. When is easter this year? anyone know. LOL, I know i could easily find out. but, i’ll ask here instead.  I did work out today. 30minutes lower body strength training, and 60 min spin class. so, hopefully that counter acted some of my calories.

 We had them sing happy birthday to him at olive garden, then they got shakes for dessert.  Then the birthday boy spills his shake all over the place. on his coat, the booth, the table, his lap!! poor baby.  We took him to target to let him pick out something just for today, then at his party he will get his other present. We are getting him a new bike. Eventually I want the whole family to have bikes, so we can go riding together. Now, that i am kick ass on a bike, hehe.

In other news, the hubbs has decided on a new career path.  as of now he installs hurricain windows.  which used to be a nice paying job. until the economy went to shit.  so, he applied to cullinary school. He will get an associates degree in cullinary arts. 16 month program. he is excited. I hope it works out for him. He’s always loved to cook, bake ect… Of course it will only make my staying on track even more of a challenge with him being a cook and all.  although, he already makes it hard on me as it is. His shoping cart looks totally different from mine. We eat very different from each other.  I guess I am sort of getting used to having the temptations around me, but its still difficult.

the anticipation is killing me. two more lbs until i have lost 100lbs!! Im sure once I get there i will just be anticipating the next milestone of ONEderland. I wish I had more patience. I know that this journey is a long road, and a never ending one. I know it takes time, and 100lbs in a little less than a year is great progress. I just want it now!! Like a three year old. I know….. I feel like I am working too much. I need to spend more time with my family. On top of it, when I am home, i sleep most days (because I work midnights), then in the evening when the family is all together, I have to go work out. I usually end up spending an average of an hour and a half to two hrs at the gym. This takes away from time with the kids and hubby. there’s just not enouph hours in the day. I have to work, I have to sleep, and working out is a priority…whats a girl to do?  I feel like an absent parent sometimes. Ive always said that I was meant to be a stay at home mom. I am jealous of women who get to stay home with their kids and let the men go out and bring home the bacon. I should have been born in the 30’s. LOL  why did we have to have rights again?  womans rights, and freedom…..who needs em.  just kidding. Im just missing my kids. Im going on day 3 of work (12 hr days) and its getting to me. well, enouph complaining tonight.

D- lean cuisine pizza, cottage cheese double.
