Today marks day 12 of South Beach Phase 1. I’m feeling pretty good, and have also begun getting into the habit of walking regularly.

I faced a couple of struggles today, and ate too many almonds and cashews. I don’t know how that will impact my weight tomorrow, but I’m not expecting a loss.

Tonight I have a meeting at a local cafe. Eating out can be a challenge because I want to stay on plan and still enjoy my meal. This cafe has their menu online, so I was able to check it out and I know what I’ll be ordering before I get there.
