Heidi - I think about you often, and what is going on with your dad. My own father died when I was in my early 20s but it was very sudden and unexpected so I can only imagine how hard it has been for you during your dad's illness. My husband lost his father to cancer when my husband was 15, and he and I often talk about what that experience was like for DH. I am sure it is hard to think about yourself and your own needs right now. Hugs.

You are amazing:) Congratulations on your weight loss and on all the hard work you did to get there.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I can only imagine how hard it is to see someone you love go through something like that. My husband and I talk about this a lot: I lost my dad unexpectedly and suddenly (when I was in my early 20s) while my husband watched his dad slowly die from cancer (when DH was in his teens). We wonder which is harder but we know that it really doesn't matter. Any loss is hard. I'm glad you can find some comfort in your faith. I'm glad you can spend time with your family this weekend.

Hugs.

:) My daughter Beth really likes it too. (I'd been telling her how good it is so she asked for the recipe.)

I love it too! I have only made it with ground chicken and ground turkey. Somehow it did not seem to go with beef. And I am amazed that when I told my mom about it (while we were working out together), she actually decided to make it for herself and her husband. And has now done it twice. And according to her he said how much he likes it and never praises any food! Make it everyone:) Yum.

It looks yum and totally good for you :D I see several colors on your plate haha

I made my bf limit his diet pepsi intake. Without thinking, he can drink the 2liter bottle in one sitting. It's hard ><
