Whew! Today was a HUNGRY day! I suppose because I didn’t eat as much yesterday. But today, I was freakin’ starving!
Breakfast - It wasn’t really breakfast since I ate it at 4:45 pm! But I woke up extremely late and missed breakfast to get out the door to school. I ate 4 chicken fingers from Chik-fil-a and drank a Diet Dr. Pepper. No, it wasn’t good. The chicken tasted funny and the caffeine gave me a headache.
Dinner - I ate about 9:45 pm and it was some 93% lean burgers with these really yummy green beans that I steamed and then tossed in italian dressing before I grilled them. I also had cheese on my burgers. I wanted to eat just 1 burger, but again, I was ravenous!
Snack - I ate another burger patty with cheese on it. My stomach was growling so I figured I’d better eat before I quit for the day so that I wouldn’t wake up sick to my stomach from hunger. People always say, “Don’t eat before you go to bed! Blah. Blah. Blah.” That is so not me. If I don’t eat, my stomach physically hurts in the morning. Like I can feel the acid churning around. It just HURTS.
I didn’t get any exercise in today and I can tell. I haven’t gotten any in lately, but I’m going to make it a point to get some tomorrow. I can’t wait until out financial aid comes in so we can join the YMCA. That’ll make it so much easier to just go and get it done.
Hmm… Well, I suppose an introduction would be a nice thing. My name is Gypsie and yes that’s my real name. I was born in Mississippi and raised in a small town in central Florida. I have a younger brother and sister who I adore. We’re big into family so I spend as much time as possible with them. I’m also married to a wonderful man who I just simply fall in love with every morning that I wake up next to him. We met in high school and we re-connected on *snicker* Myspace. It was certainly by chance but we both knew within a short time that we’d be getting married sooner rather than later. Almost exactly a year later we were married. We live in that same small town we both grew up in with all 6 doggies, 3 cats, and Steve the squirrel.
As far as dieting goes, seeing as to how this is a “diet” blog, this is my 4 attempt at dieting. First time around I tried WW but I found that too easily manipulated. Second time around I tried an HcG injection diet that landed me in the hospital with an ovarian cyst the size of a lemon. Third time I was pretty successful at taking the weight off with low-carb, but I didn’t keep it off very well. This time I’m doing low-carb again, but I’m adding in more exercise and I’m trying to change the way I view food. Food is fuel for the body not something that makes you feel better.
So, in this blog I’ll try to chronicle my daily eatings as well as any recipes I may test out or come up with as well as any trials or tribulations I cross as I go.
