I am going to fight the number 240 and its brothers 241, 242, and 243 if I am still there by December 1st!!!!

As my brother says, it’s cold as balls (ummm, I didn’t know they were cold?) outside! I think the high is supposed to be 51 today. It was 28 this morning; this is late January weather. If it’s late January, does that mean my cruise is coming up in a week or two? Because it sure does feel like it.

Oh how I miss the grill. It’s been too cold to even cookout outside. Very unlike me. Right now I want to blame this plateau on my lack of charred food. Maybe I need to suck it up and brave the 30- temps at night since it gets dark and I’m still at work by the time I get home and it’s time for dinner.

DAYUM YOU 240!!!!

My membership to Bally’s ends in January, so I think I’m going to go ahead and join LA fitness next month. That might also be the change I need to get me off this plateau. Apparently the running I’ve been doing isn’t helping.

ETA: I just got home from a Spin class at the gym. I think I’ve found a new exercise “trick” to maybe help me with this plateau. I don’t usually like exercise classes (I tried step aerobics once or twice, in a class, and found that the more tired I get, the more uncoordinated I get), but I think I can hang with this one. It requires little coordination, the music is good, and I feel like I worked out! I also enjoyed the stretching at the end. COME ON 239!!!!

DAYUM YOU 240!!!

Maybe it was that cake I made for Halloween and the Barack Obama cupcakes I made for the election night party I went to. And I can cook a mean cake…Publix better watch out for me!

DAYUM YOU 240!!!

Uh oh, I don’t know what’s going to happen next Thursday. Especially since my family has requested that I make one of my famous cakes for Turkey Day. Along with my Macaroni and Cheese (I’m going to try and sneak in whole wheat macaroni and hope they don’t notice).

This week, though, I’m eating a lot of seafood for dinner. Tonight’s dinner is crab legs (mmmm) with green beans and peas. The seafood feast will continue until the weekend; I have company coming to visit from Florida. Even then, though, I’m going to try and behave. :)

DAYUM YOU 240!!! COME ON 239!!!!
