The never ending rollercoaster ride… January 30, 2009

to sum it up because I don’t feel like talking about it much…

I’m finding a new weight watchers meeting because I HATE MY WW LEADER.  She is horribly discouraging and only points out when people do well, and you cannot ask questions, and she is constantly saying the scale is wrong.  So mayyyybbeee i didn’t lose 5.8 pounds last week and MAYBBBEEE I didn’t gain 3.2 this week.  Like it’s w.w. shouldn’ the scale be right? I mean jeez I pay 13 a week and I’m not liking what I’m getting.

Yeah I gained 3.2 pounds and sat there pissed off the whole time wanting to launch my leader across the room.  I truly do NOT like her.

OHHHH and to top it off…mom, who has eaten a piece of chcoalate cake every night last week, lost .6 pounds!!! while i drooooollleeeddd over it.

I should have just eaten it.

doing pretty well this week…minus the pizza crust today and the chicken fingers yesterday…but I think I am still in my weight range.

my mom made this soup called potpouri soup wih lots of vegetables and it was delish and i onllllyyy ate it with one piece of bread! thats big for me!

weigh in- thursday at 7 hoping to lose 2-3 pounds

 

Progress & Weight Question January 24, 2009

I still cannot believe I lost 5.8 pounds!! I am uber excited.  This week I WILL commit to going to the gym or doing some sort of exercise either on the treadmill, on demand workout, or walking Pat’s dog. 
Sunday night I will do the treadmil. 
Monday I have to go to school early, but I can go to the gym after class. 
Tuesday after class I will go over to Pat’s and walk chey. 
Wednesday - gym in the morning.

Heres a question though…Should I avoid doing weight training if I want to see the numbers drop on the scale?  I know that muscle weighs more than fat and all that, but if I’m trying to lose the fat should I do weight machines?

Weigh In - Down 5.8!!!! January 22, 2009

Yes chicks…I said it…down 5.8 this week!!!! OHH I was so happy seeing this after gaining 2 pounds last week. My mom also went down 6.2 ! Im so excited for her I could tell she was very proud of herself. 

I think last weeks weigh in scared the shit out of me hahaha so I really bucked down this week. Not so much exerising though

Goals for this week: less eating out, less bread, more water, write everything down,
lose another .2 for my gold star
lose maybe 3-4 more pounds!!

AGHHH!  I just got back from my weight watchers meeting.  +2 pounds?! WTF?!?!?!

ugh im so so so so so frustrated.  there were a few times this week where I ate things that might have been the bad choice…but I went three weeks and only gained a pound.  can someone please explain?!!??

 

Week 4 & After Holidays January 9, 2009

THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVVEERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY

Ugh I’m so happy, no more cookies and cakes in the house.  No more candy shaped like santa and snowmen and no more chocolate straws. 

I went back to weight watchers last night thinking that I was going to gain at minimum 5 pounds; I was expecting the very worst.  However, I only gained 1.6 pounds.  I felt soo much better.  Even though there were days where I ate CRAP…there were also some days in there where I threw in a brisk walk, or calculated all of my points and I know that those were the ones that helped.

Moreover, my mom joined with me last night.  I could tell she was a little uneasy about the fact that she had to go back.  She is a lifetime member, but cant seem to keep the weight off.  I think this is the first time in years she is actually adiment about losing the weight, and I’m glad we’re doing it together. 

My goals this week:  get down to 198 for the next meeting, write EVERYTHING down, do some sort of physical activity three days a week

Successful Day December 30, 2008

Yesterday I woke up really late, so I ate my lunch and had healthy start chicken and rice soup (3pts) and 5 crackers (2pts)  then a 100 callorie pack of cookies (2pts)

For dinner, my friends and I went to RubY’s Diner which is famous for their burgers and fries but I got a chicken caesar salad (which I figured to be like 9pts)  And a diet coke.

Last night my boyfriend and I took that loonnngg walk around his neighborhood that we used to do last summer.  However, it was much more difficult last night.  We made it through and I’m only a little stiff today.

This morning he made me two eggs, a piece of multigrain toast with “I cant believe it’s not butter” spray, and a sliced apple.

Now I’m off to work at the bakery…EGH wish me luck.

I will be starting my diet right back up on Monday. My family and I are not celebrating Christmas until saturday because of our busy work schedules. I will go to the gym too next week. My goal is to lose another 3 by the next weigh in!

 

Weight Watchers– down 2 December 21, 2008

My first weight watchers weigh in was on Thursday December 18th and I LOST 2 pounds!!!!

YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! 









I psyched myself out on the way there and thought I gained weight.  I didn’t work out at all that week and was really stressed with school.  I also had a few pigs in a blanket that week. 

The week before christmas is TOUGH.  I just came from a party and there was cake (i had like 3 bites) and cookies (I had two ) and two small slices of pizza which probably only equaled one.  I wasn’t exactly trying  to eat well, but  I probably could have eaten better.

Tomorrow I work from 10-2 and I plan on bringing breakfast with me, eating lunch when I get home, go to the gym, and then eat a healthy dinner because I KNOW i won’t be eating very healthy for the next couple days. 

One thing that is good is I won’t be getting weighed in until January 8th because this week’s meeting is canceled for Christmas, and next weeks is canceled for New Years Day.  My mom also told me that she will be joining when the new year begins, so the first meeting that I go back to is January 8th. 

I figure this week I won’t be very good (obviously) but next week I will be going o the gym and doing weight watchers.  I hope to lose another 3 pounds by my next meeting so I can get my FIRST
