new mini goal for this week another 3 lbs…hopefully this is achievable considering i’m starting off sick with a stupid cold. boo to stuffy noses, sore throats and body aches. :( but i’m determined to push the water intake and get some exercise in if its dueable…

yay yay yay…accomplishment feels so good! :) even when you can’t breathe from your nose and you sound like a heffer just walking down hill…lol it still feels good! :) WI was yesterday, Sunday, and I’m down 4 lbs in week one! even though I didn’t hit my exercise goal of the days to the gym and pool, i guess it was the major water intake and the food changes that made the difference….

So here’s the breakdown for this week since I failed to keep up with this thing…grrr…

Sunday, March 1: Gym-weights tris and back
Monday, March 2: Swim- 800 yds
Thursday, March 5: Jog- 1 mile
Friday, March 6: Jog- 0.75 mile, weights- bis, tris, abs and chest

So I feel accomplished and my muscles are screaming at me that they haven’t felt this way since last summer. Thanks to the hubby kickin my butt at the gym. Worked on bis, tris and abs (just a lil bit) also ran about .75 of a mile nonstop (lol which was a goal and now an accomplishment) baby steps…baby steps. Goal for tomorrow is to hit the gym and track hard for WI on Sunday afternoon…eeks! Hopefully I hit that minigoal of mine…I’d be ultra satisfied, considering the hard time I’m having adjusting to time mangagement with exercise, school, work and my personal “down time.” Got a sweet shift for tomorrow…10a-2p yay! :) and then got to run to Target for some personal hygiene stuff. Then off to workin out with the hubby. After that hopefully give myself about an hour or two of just veggin’ out and then hit the books hard since I have that big paper due Wednesday. :sighs: oh the fun never stops. :) but at least I have a game plan AND i have a support team behind me. lucky i am…i know :wink: hope all you chicks had a awesome and glorious friday finishing off an awesome week filled with goals that were ACCOMPLISHED…what an amazing feeling it is. So I’m being reasonable in my four month adventure, I’m estimating roughly 8 to 10 lbs a month, give or take I have an awesome month and another that’s stagnant…but as of now let’s take it week by week as that seems more plausable…

and it wasn’t too bad, considering I had my last midterm and a paper due. We did our extensive workouts throughout the weekend, had great food choices all week, only downfall, found it hard to squeeze in the hour or so of workout time between work and school… :/ but I guess we can’t be choosy. My concern was getting enough rest to ensure not getting sick, since it seems like everyone at school and work are sick with some type of virus. Just want to stay healthy so that when I do have downtime I can take advantage of it. The hubby and I agreed not to weigh ourselves constantly, infact we were going back and forth in when to really weigh in…I think we settled on a follow up this Sunday…dum dum duuuuum. :) Its THAT time of month, so I’m hoping when I jump on the scale I won’t scare myself away…I’m giving myself an extra lb for water weight, although I heard it could account for much more…we’ll see. :)

We also made an adjustment for our goal. So we have some personal reasons why we’re pushing this even faster and harder, with new eating habits and avid, healthy exercise, we’re going to aim for a 30 lb knock down….so here’s the new goal:

I read some of you guys talking about Dude’s posts, I only read her first sentence and already agree, she should definately be kicked out, this isn’t a place to vent about your personal sex life or rant about how unproductive you are as a person. Let’s try to motivate each other or search for some kind encouragement that can be reciprocated shall we? Jeez louise…

Hi chicks!  Gosh it’s been FOREVER since I’ve been by. I truly don’t have any real excuse considering I got my first test scores back and clearly it doesn’t show that I’ve been cramming for all of my classes. So I guess all I really have to attribute my absense to is laziness. The first step to getting it right is admitting where your faults are right? 

 

So the hubby and I made a deal that I have until June 1st to drop 15 pounds and then hopefully, from then until December 31st I have to drop another 15 lbs. The difficult part? Getting back into my routine. I completely know off hand that I’m not going to have the strength nor the time to really get into my crazy swim workouts, but I sure can start getting STARTED..if that makes any sense. I just got off of work about an hour ago, I have some errands to run with the hubby going to relax with him till he has to go to work (He works graveyard) then going to go to the gym as soon as he leaves, around 10:30p. I’m trying not to think about how physcially tired I am right now, and want to remind myself of the summer that’s coming around the corner and how bad I want to be able to go to the beach with friends without feeling like I can’t even wear a tight shirt because it’ll shun ppl off. So here’s to another attempt and hopefully a new mindset.

Lazy Sunday

It’s been a lazy sunday considering we haven’t really been home much today.  The hubby came home from work this morning at 7:30a, got ready for church and for some reason we ended up talking about the rental property much longer than anticipated and soon we were too late to start off to church.  Decided instead to head to Coffee Bean (MY FAV!) for some drinks.  Then headed back home to meet the parents from breakfast.  Went to breakfast, then ran an errand for an Aunt.  Dropped off the parents and went to a movie (4 Christmases) it was cute and just the laugh we both needed considering the stresses we’ve been carrying around this holiday.  Unfortuantly though the hubby needed rest, after being up for 24 hours his cold turned really bad, he has a whooping cough now, and I think I may have JUST convinced him to go to the doctor tomorrow. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get him in the office and out by 10:30a tomorrow since I have work at 12p.  Anyway we were home by 4p and he’s been asleep since then.  I myself have tried to go back to bed since I only got about 3 hours sleep last night, but I have too much going on in the noggin’ to relax. :sighs: I hope everyone finished off their weekend strong and restful. Can’t wait to feel happy, relaxed and at peace with where I’m at in my life again. (being total downer debbie right now and emo cause i don’t feel like gettin into it. hope ya’ll understand) xoxo

SWIM: 800 yards

okay nothing like my last exercises, but I’m getting back into the groove. Hopefully with another 2 days with a minimum of this yardage and a consistent 200 yard increase every 2 days, I’ll be back up to 3,000 ft in no time…
