What’s a girl to do?

i’m a bit frustrated with myself for having been “stuck” in the low 80s and not being able to break through. I feel like I was on such an awesome streak with running, then had these severe migraines two weeks back placing fear in my heart that I would pass out if I went to go run on my own, so I simply avoided exercise all together for the past two weeks. In fact today was the first day back into the “routine” of running again. I was only able to do 1.50 miles today, gotta work my way up to that 2 mile mark again without stopping. baby steps, and i’m fine with that, but just frustrated that when i was running continuously i did not see the major fall in weight i was hoping for. :( anyway, perhaps i didn’t stick with it long enough? or maybe i should focus more on time then actual distance…:shrugs: idk, i just know that i’m about ready to see the 70s at anytime now! grrr…here’s to the last four days to try and get er done!
hope you all are doing well.

My 3 miles wasn’t without a break. I made it to 2.2 and had to walk a lap. I am not back up to what I was last year. I am trying to figure out how many times a week that I need to run to maintain the ability to do 3 miles. I am mixing in so much other stuff now that it is hard to commit to running as much as I should. Hey, I saw that you did swimming last year. I need to browse your old posts and see how that went. I start lessons this coming Monday and take them two times a week during May.
Running does so much good for your overall health, IMO. So even if the weight is coming off slowly you are still making great progress!
Running never made me drop weight quickly, but it whipped me into shape cardiovascularly. I heart running! And don’t worry about getting back up to 2 miles. You’ll be there in no time.
I haven’t started running yet. Someday though, and I’m sure it will have that sense of freedom I remember. I struggle alot with this whole process being slow. It’s really HARD for me to not compare myself with others’ successes. I see alot of people lose 100 a year through the blogs. BUT in all honestly, I don’t as clean as they do. I’m learning though and by the smallest baby steps possible. Everyone tells me 1 pound a week is good, but I want 2 right? If I was getting 2, I’d probably want 3. I have to just try to enjoy myself as I go through this and know that baby stepping it all the way will one day get me there. I just finished a really fun read, DietGirl by Shauna Reid. I’m keeping my eye out at the gym for a fat chick and/or reader like me who might enjoy it so I can pass it down. It’s really interesting to read her story which spans 6 yrs. She goes from an extremely obese, depressed girl, to happy, confident young woman all the while going through the trials of ‘lard busting’. I love it, I think eveyrone should read it. I espeically like how her perceptions of things change, like the obsession of the scale, the various diets, the way she thinks others’ think of her, and her fear of challenges, changes, and new things.
Boy did I get chatty! Sorry! Hang in there. Keep going! Atleast the headaches are gone. Those are tough to deal with.
I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.

Thanks for your submission. Another item is that being photographer entails not only problem in recording award-winning photographs and also hardships in getting the best camera suited to your requirements and most especially struggles in maintaining the caliber of your camera. This is very true and visible for those photographers that are directly into capturing a nature’s interesting scenes - the mountains, the forests, the particular wild and the seas. Going to these exciting places definitely requires a dslr camera that can live up to the wild’s harsh area.
I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the accidental misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this greatest doc.
