Man, this REALLY sucks!

Posted by gottaloose4 on August 26th, 2008 |Filed Under The end of summer is nearing... |

I’m really disappointed with the WI today; I gained back 2 lbs this past week, I really think it’s b/c of 3 issues…1.I didn’t exercise last week like I normally do, which really scares me, if it’s the cause b/c when school starts I’m not going to be able to keep up with the routine I’ve been doing this summer. 2.The food choices over the weekend were HORRIBLE! Absolutely HORRIBLE…had fast food on Friday night with the hubby, Saturday had restaurant brunch with family from out of town and 3.My stupid, stupid, stupid TOM hasn’t come yet, and he was supposed to show up on the 15th, so maybe some water retention? I feel bloated and just gross all over, haven’t been digesting my food like I normally do, if you catch my drift….so I’m just negative right now about everything. To top it off, I’m REALLY lazy, I got up went to the pool this morning only to discover that it’s closed for “cleaning” until 12p this afternoon, but there’s no point in going there at that time, because it’s going to be really really really full. So I’ll have to just start up again tomorrow…tomorrow seems like it never comes, lately. :: sighs :: I hope everyone has had a great TACO TERRIFIC TUESDAY thus far, and I hope some positive posts are around so that it’ll encourage me to let all the negative feelings go away. :) hugs to all….

Any chance you’re pregnant? Being late, gaining weight, feeling icky. Just an idea to consider. Hope that tomorrow comes for you…tomorrow.

BTW, you CAN go out and still eat healthy. Avoid breads, deserts, just get grilled fish/meat and steamed veggies and salads and voila. I went to Cheesecake Factory the other day with friends and got me ala-carte steamed broccoli and grilled chicken. Of course it was painful to watch my friends much a cake but deep inside I know that all that fat and sugar will go straight to the fat rolls they have and my lunch was actully nutricious. Some fast food places have nice salads. I love Panera Bread soups and salads ( look if there is one in your area), their Turkey Chilly have only 180 ccal for portion and totally delicious.

    Dont give up!

    Hey :)

First, thank you for the comment on my blog. Corbyn is at least happy enough for now, and I’d much rather pay for an operation that could make him so much better, than pay for antibiotics for months and months that don’t really like.

TOM’s are so annoying when they muck about! But what I’ve found really helps is a hot water bottle - obviously relaxes cramps and stuff but it really helps my stress levels go down because it’s cozy and warm. Also, for bloating though it sounds weird, flat diet coke can really help! Obviously it tastes flat and I’ve no idea why it helps but it does!

Good luck with tomorrow :D and remember - some times you need to indulge yourself to move on. Tomorrow’s a fresh start :)

Everyone has a bad week here and there. You just have to keep going and Im sure the scales will move next week.

Hey you, get out of that slump!

It’s awful to feel bloated and gross, and yes - it does add some water weight on the scale - but just stick with it, you’ll see what you want soon. The 2 pounds likely isn’t a real gain, it’ll go away.

I know it sucks to be stuck in a rut. I get in them all of the time. The best thing to do is move onward, not downward. Continue exercising (no excuses) and think of the calories you’re burning and the fat melting away. Keep eating healthy and the stomach yucks will disappear. You’ll feel better, I promise!

    Here’s to a better tomorrow.

hey. don’t be discouraged! its just one of those days. just keep on the track and you’ll see you’ll be losing pounds like magic.
and thanks for your comment. I know you’re right. I should start small and build-up to longer exercise sessions. the thing is that everytime i have exercised in the past i’ve started with a 30-45 mins session and continued or increased it further. But what’s happened is that its eventually led to fatigue and I’ve not been able to sustain it beyond a month or so. Maybe this time I’ll be smarter and do what you said…. start with baby steps…

Thanks for helping me to attain new thoughts about pc’s. I also have the belief that one of the best ways to keep your notebook in excellent condition is a hard plastic-type material case, or maybe shell, that suits over the top of the computer. A majority of these protective gear are usually model specific since they are manufactured to fit perfectly above the natural covering. You can buy all of them directly from the vendor, or through third party places if they are intended for your mobile computer, however not all laptop can have a spend on the market. All over again, thanks for your ideas.

These days of austerity in addition to relative stress and anxiety about getting debt, most people balk about the idea of employing a credit card in order to make acquisition of merchandise as well as pay for any gift giving occasion, preferring, instead to rely on the actual tried as well as trusted technique of making transaction - cash. However, if you have the cash there to make the purchase completely, then, paradoxically, that is the best time for them to use the card for several motives.

I have mastered some important things through your site post. One other stuff I would like to express is that there are plenty of games that you can buy which are designed particularly for preschool age youngsters. They involve pattern recognition, colors, dogs, and designs. These generally focus on familiarization as opposed to memorization. This helps to keep a child occupied without having the experience like they are studying. Thanks

One important thing is that when you are searching for a education loan you may find that you’ll need a cosigner. There are many scenarios where this is correct because you could find that you do not employ a past credit rating so the mortgage lender will require that you’ve someone cosign the credit for you. Interesting post.
