Today May 6, 2009 - at the 2 year mark I stood on the scale to see 203 which means I have gained 3lbs in the past year.
This year has brought it’s own problems, situations and road blocks much like my first year. With a failed adoption, the loss of my mother in law and my cousin I am living proof that when life steps in it is hard to stick with it and lose weight - everyday is new yet everyday brings about different road blocks and I now want to focus on not letting those road blocks stand in my way.
My goal for this new me year is to not just to lose those 3lbs but to also make it to my goal weight of 165
On that note my plan for today is ……..
my eating plan for today:
- 2 pancakes with sugar free syrup, 3 sliced strawberries, 1 cup of coffee and water
- yogurt, mini orange and water
- baked fish, veggies and water
- cheesestick and water
- chicken breast, brown rice, veggies and coke zero
- ice cream sandwich
my exercise plan for today:
- weights and 2 mile walk at the park
my water intake for today:
- drink 8 8oz glasses of water
Yesturday I had to add 5 almonds to my morning snack as it just didn’t seem to hit the spot - I even spaced everything out. I didn’t do a 2 mile walk on the treadmil I did a 30 minute high intensity walk. Of course I again went above and beyond on the water. At dinner I only had shrimp, salad and diet pepsi and for a snack I had hot chocolate while watching biggest loser instead of an ice cream sandwich.
