“for me” October 14, 2009
I have said it before - I am a BIG fan of the show Biggest Loser and lastnight I was in front of the tv watching just like all other Tuesday nights. The show lastnight stood out to me for one reason and that was because it seemed to be alot about having to do it “for me”. Several mentioned that they had to stop the worry of what others think and to remember that this is “for me” and to do what would benefit or work “for me”.
I got to thinking - why is it that I can’t seem to get to that point. I know it has to be “for me” and I know that no one else can or will do it for me that it all will come from me, but when will I come to that moment where I say I have to do this “for me” and nothing or no one will stand in my way???

God has a plan for you. The Bible teaches us that our hearts desire is given to us by God, and then he sets up the steps so we can achieve the desire. So he basically gives it to us and we just need to show up for the lessons. That’s how I think about it. It doesn’t say that last idea in the Bible that I’ve seen. lol
This journey is different for each person with one thing in common–FAT! …and it seems to never go away. LOL
You are exactly where God wants you to be, and learning what He has planned for you to learn. Sometimes we gain psychological ground and sometimes we gain “weightloss”. It’s a process. A looooooooooooong one. Hahaha….
