Movies August 12, 2008

Last night I went to the movies to see                                                        The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. I loved the first one and was really looking forward to seeing this one and I am glad I did.

When you go to the movies the smell of popcorn, candy and soda pop fill the air making your tummy and your mind go to thinking and wanting beacause we all know whats a movie without a snack. Right? My purse is big enough to carry all kinds of things in it of all kinds of sizes. I knew the other 5 chicks I would be going with would be having some sort of a snack and they did purses full of candy, chips, popcorn etc. so I had to come up with what I would be having.

Popcorn I don’t like it unless it’s covered in chocolate so that wasn’t a worry. Chocolate is my weakness so the candy may be a route I would take however I went with gum and that was all. Nothing from the snack bar, no bites of anything the chicks brought just me and my piece of gum.

Think it out and plan for a successful venture to the movies.

yep! you got it  it’s friday again and time to post the #’s that the scale was showin

  • begin weight - 215.4
  • last week - 199.8
  • this week - 201.2
  • week change - 1.6 UP
  • overall change - 214.2

I knew the scale would be up this week as all my days this week except one was a high calorie day and I also factored in the fact that I had been weight training 4 days a week for the past 3 weeks. No I don’t think I already have that much muscle built up but I do think that it’s water retention due to a change in my body with the weight training and I also think I’m loosing inches instead of lbs which is just fine with me.

 

Morning Workouts August 7, 2008

I don’t always work out in the mornings before work seems sometimes I just can’t find the time but believe me when the time is there even if it is 10-20 minutes I take it and usually jump on the elliptival cause thats whre I’m gonna get my best for a little amount of time.

Morning workouts seem to make me hungry right afterwards and seems like on days when I do a morning workout I stay hungry pretty much the whole day almost as if I can’t get enough to eat.

These problems don’t bother me on the weekends as I prefer to workout first thing in the morning it just seems to be the during the week morning workouts that do it to me.

Do you ever feel this not enough to eat feeling when you workout in the mornings?

My hubby has been looking for a good ab workout so we came accross a Billy Blanks boot camp video and I decided to give it a try. I Have done other Billy Blanks tae bo videos which give a great sweaty workout but this new one let me tell ya….

I must say that it was the quickest 53 minutes of my life -thank God. This video definetly believes in exhaustion cause that is what each muscle felt after it was worked. There are some of the hardest toughest ab exercises in this video.

If your looking for a hard sweaty fast workout this is the one. I know I will definetly be doing it again.

 

Weekend eating August 4, 2008

Weekends are known to be pretty tough for everyone when trying to loose weight and this past weekend was a bit tough for me. I didn’t eat alot or binge or over indulge I just managed to eat food with alot of calories. I don’t feel mad or bad or sad about it and I won’t even blame it on TOM. I enjoyed what I ate and only put in my mouth what I wanted, however when next weekend rolls around I will make a better effort at my food choice.
