My vacation in the Keys May 28, 2008
Where shall I begin - ah yes the beginning.
We (20 of us) left Friday the 16th and drove half way and stayed overnight. Got up the next morning and drove til we reached The Old Wooden Bridge Fish Camp on Big Pine Key. There is NO wooden bridge to be found however there is alot of Key deer and these animals are to cool.
Our days were spent by the pool, on the boat or at the beach - yes I did get a great tan. We spent a few evenings in Key West shopping, sightseeing and of course eating.
On Thursday we spent the day at Smathers Beach which is a very nice beach and is also the place where hubby and I parasailed for the first time and boy was it a blast.
Our trip ended on late Saturday night when we safely made it back home.
I love the Keys the water is so beautiful the people are so friendly and to me time just seems to stand still.
