I feel so mad so upset. It’s like nothing I do is working. Do I eat less or do I eat more or should I workout less or workout more. I am confused and very discouraged. Any advice would be great. My weekend was a pure mess of junk food & fast food.

B- boca pattie w/1 egg over medium & 2 cups coffee with 1%milk

Easter Goal February 15, 2008

I have set myself yet another weight loss goal. My goal is to loose 5lbs from today Feb 15th to Easter Sunday March 23rd. Wish me luck!

B- 1.5 cup of cereal w/1cup of 1% milk & 1cup of grapefruit juice

S- carrots & 10 cashews

L- amys frozen meal & reses peanut butter cups & a 1/2 of a medium size bag of dark chocolate peanut m & ms

Tonights dinner is at Longhorn Steakhouse which is my pick and a very easy resturant to eat on plan.

My valentine was awesome - the gift, the dinner, the everything.

I have had the toughest time today with dealing with the urge for chocolate. I know TOM will be here at any moment but oh what to do

 

Update… Valentines goal

If you think back to December 26th I set a Valentines day goal - that goal was to loose 8lbs by valentines day, well it’s valentines day and how did I do?

In this time range that I had to loose these 8lbs I was sick with mono and put on bed rest for a week and then there was no exercise for 3 weeks and then a slow progress to exercise schedule set by my doc. I’ve taken numerous medicines for various things and I have been fighting the headaches as well as the stuff with the knot on the side of my head. So there again you ask - How did you do?

On 12/26/07 I weighed in a 198.8 and today Valentines day I weighed in at 200.6 which means I am up 1.8lbs

Considering all I have been through I’ll take it.

Tonight hubby and I are goind to the Chart House for dinner mostly everything will be on plan except i will be having the lava cake as my valentine sweet treat.

B- oatmeal w/npb, a banana & cup of grapefruit juice

S- vanilla yogurt sprinkled w/protein powder & 4 strawberries

L- pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw & fries & diet coke

S- carrots

D- off plan so I won’t put in the details

S- desert at dinner

After looking at my weigh in from yesturdays 9 day phase 1 weigh in I do not think I will be making my Valentine goal on tomorrow unless I get a 10lb miracle - I do believe in miracles. However I would like to at least be back to where I started at and that was 198.8

B- 1/2 grapefruit with scarmble egg whites & salsa & 1 cup hot green tea

S- unsweet applesauce & a banana

L- l/o shrimp stir fry & coke zero

S- carrots & piece of low glycemic sf chocolate

S- piece of chocolate & 2 pumpin oatmeal cookies

D- chicken breast & broccoli

S- chocolate peanut butter ice cream

 Yes I ate ice cream and it was the full of everything kind My mom and I had a heart to heart crying talk as she and I both (her more) are having a very hard time dealing with the loss of my dad and needless to say in the middle of it the ice cream came in to play. It’s hard enough with TOM any minute.

Back on Sunday February 3rd I started phase 1 of  the fat smash diet which consist of 9 days. I weighed in on that 1st morning at 203 Today after completeing 9 days I weigh in at 200.6

That wasn’t the results I had hoped for but with me just getting back to exercising I’ll take it. I feel like I have lost more than that so who cares what the scale reads - I feel great!

Today I start phase 2 of the fat smash diet and we will see what kind of results I get.

B- 1 cup cereal with 1/2 cup mik, banana, 1cup grapefruit juice & 1/2 cup milk w/tbsp protein

S- almonds & rasins

L- l/o 3 bean chili & coke zero

S- 1 graham cracker & grapes

S- piece of sf low glycemic chocolate almond candy

D- shrimp & asparugus stir fry

S- piece ofchocolate & 2 oatmeal pumpkin cookies

68- exercise minutes ( 28 walk on treadmil + 40 jog on treadmil)

SATURDAY…….

Today consist of going to the cleaners, paying layaway, eye apt and going to the big mall with hubby. I have a pretty busy day planned.

My eye apt went great the doc seems to think I need to wear my contacts more because my eyes seem to respond to things better (especially light) with contacts in so I have to wear conatcts all this week while monitoring my headaches and let her know on my follow up next Saturday whats what.

B- mexican omelet with grapefruit juice

S- mixed fruit cup(strawberries, raspberries, blackberries & banana)

L- bean soup over brown rice

S- nothing

D- chilis (off plan) with diet coke

S- nothing

Today we have church and then hubby starts his softball team practice which is good cause I can walk the park while the team practices.

S- yogurt w/strawberrys

D- fiesta salad

Yes that is tonights resturant of choice and what good choice it is I just love there ribs - delish!

Even though I told my hubby I wouldn’t weigh until the end of the 9 day fat smash phase I took a peek this morning of course it was only for my blog & no other reason like curiosity - 201 is what the scale read. Down 2.6 from last week which means I am now 6.2lbs from being back to my weight before I got sick.

Date night February 7, 2008

Hubby and I have tickets tonight to the comedy zone to see Tim Wilson. I have such a great time with my husband it’s almost as though we are still dating cause the newness is till so there.

I feel great this morning! No headaches or any other aches for that matter. I did wake up this morning feeling like I had lost weight but that feeling left when I tried to wear an old pair of jeans to work - almost there but not yet.

B-  1/2 cup oatmealwith cinnamon 1/2 banana & 1 cup grapefruit juice 

S- 4oz vanilla yogurt & 1/2 cup oatmeal granola (I baked it)

L- left over bean soup over brown rice

S- 2 oz plain yogurt & 1/2 cup carrots

I went ahead and made my yearly eye exam apt - I’m a month early but I’m beginning to think that may be the cause of my headaches especially since it seems to be getting harder to look at the computer.

Today is my childhood best friends birthday. She lives out of town so we will not be able to spend it together which could be a good thing - no cake & ice cream.

I worked out lastnight. I did a 23 minute jog on the treadmil and I felt awesome! I felt like myself again all my troubles and worrys were gone my energy was so high.

B- 1/2 grapefruit with 2 scarmbled egg whites & 1cup 1% milk

S- mixed fruit cup

L- stirfry veggies with boca crumbles & I tried a cocavia chocolate drink (150 cal & 24g sugar-taste ok)

S- vanilla yogurt & grapes

S- l/f granola bar

D- bean soup over brown rice (hubby is cooking) & decaf green tea

S- coke zero

0 - exercise minutes
