To me this is just not a quote about a football game but a quote about weight loss. The win is your goal weight and in order to reach your goal you must prepare and be prepared at all times.

bfast - 2 eggs over med & small piece of chicken cordon blue & coffee

snak - celery w/nat peanut butter

luch - crabmeat salad & diet coke

snak - cheesestick

dinner - 3 meat salad

snak - fudgecicle

water - 16 8oz glasses

workout - 31 min walk on treadmil + 30 min cardio video

Tonight is my brothers bday dinner at Bonos and I will make the healthest choice possible.

Saturday ……

Had alot I wanted to do and alot I got to do. For instance I got to go to the cleaners and grocery store but I wanted to go order my new nightstand.

Hubby and I scheduled a 9am walk with a few friends and then at 1:30 I did my 8 wek workout. This scheduling workouts seems pretty cool - like it’s set in stone.

I got awesome news Friday nite - one of the things I wanted for christmas was a treadmil well dh didn’t get it. My friend Dianne tells me I can have hers as she has no room for it - I am so stoked! I can walk on the treadmil for the time period that I watch the bigest loser on Tuesdays

bfast - egg beaters & boca patty & 2cups hot cocoa

lunch - sirloin burger (no bun) lettuce tomato onion & mayo & coke zero

snak -bean muffin

dinner - eggplant parmagian made with ground beef

snak - peanut butter cup milkshake

water - 10 8oz glasses

workout- 20 min walk/jog & 30 min cardio video

Sunday ……

Today we had church & then we picked up my treadmil & boy is it a nice treadmil.

bfast - bean muffin scramble egg beaters & turkey bacon

lunch - L/O eggplant parm

snack - blt wraps

dinner - grilled fish scallops & salad

snack -

water - 8 8oz glasses

workout - 30 min 2 mile walk + 35 min sculpt video

 

Friday Family Nite Dinner January 4, 2008

Every Friday we (me, husband & grandparents) get together and go to dinner. It’s a different place every Friday - we take turns drawing out of a bag full of names. Todays pick was by my grandmother and she chose Steak n Shake. This is where my south beach dining guide will come in handy.

bfast - broccoli & cheese omelet with scramble egg beaters & coffee

snack - celery w/nat peanut butter

lunch - chicken salad

snack - cottage cheese & tomato

dinner - double burger (no bread) with 1 slice cheese on top of lettuce tomato and onion & cottage cheese on the side

snack -

water - 10 8oz glasses

Won’t be working out today as on this new 8 week workout program I am on Friday is the day off for the week. Boy am I sore from this nw workout. Every inch of my body has a sore part so it is a good thing today = rest

Yes today is weigh day and I weighed in at 198.6 whic means I am down .2 from last Friday and being as I just started this 8 week workout program I wanted to notate my measurements and I will do so every 2 weeks.

chest - 37 1/4

hips - 49

waist - @ navel: 37.5                                        2in below: 43.5

thigh - R: 29.5                                                     L: 29

arm - R: 14 1/4                                                       L: 14

8 weeks - are you sure? January 3, 2008

So I came home from work yesturday and my husband says he has this 8 week fitness program he wants me to do with him. He promises it will give results as long as I of course stick with it. My husband is already in shape and works out 2-3 times a week and I figured I need to get to goal so why not give it a go - I did just that at 8pm lastnight. Myself and dh did our first 30 minute workout of the new 8 week “challange” and boy do I feel it today.

bfast - 2 eggs over med & leftover taco bake with coffee

snack - 2 cheesestick

lunch - shrimp salad (I was freezing so I went to starbucks and got a sf hazelnut latte)

snack - 2 ham cheese & lettuce roll ups & jello cup

dinner - talapia, brocoli sprinkled w/cheese, brussel sprouts & turnips

snack - I was starving lastnite so I ate a sb brownie (phase 1)

water - 15 8oz glasses

workout - 30 min sculpt video

Gotta get use to the 2008 thing.

Phase 1 day 2 looks a bit like this

bfast - egg beater omele with black beans, cheese & salsa

snak - 2 lettuce turkey & cheese wraps

lunch - chili & diet coke

snak - celery w/nat peanut butter

dinner - taco bake & coke zero

snak - south beach choc brownie

water - 14 8oz glasses

workout - 25 minutes (walk/jog on treadmil & some hand weights) + 30 minute cardio video

 

South Beach (not miami) - phase 1 January 1, 2008

Starting phase 1 on the 1st day of the 1st month of the new year this has to be a great sign of success to come.

I think I need a boost of such so I have decided to do phase 1 for 2 weeks and see where that gets me.

Didn’t get up til 12:15pm as we did not get home fom the party til 3:30am. However at the stroke of midnite I drank no more & ate no more (bad stuff)

lunch: chicken cesar salad & diet coke

snack: mozz cheese stick

dinner: steak w/asparugus & side salad

snack: peanut butter cup (south beach style)
