The Weekend November 19, 2007

Here is a look back at my weekend -

Saturday:I spent 4-5 hours at the mall so lots of walking there. My eating was on plan but did No official working out.

Sunday: Went to church & then to a bday party and thats where i had a small square piece of cake & 3 scoops of ice cream (ice cream is my weakness). I also had 3 bites of DH’s desert later that night as he did not go to the party. No workout for this day either. Other eating went well

Today………………

I plan on starting the bowflex today - I need to get in some weight/resistance training and definetly some ab work.

bfast: protein shake & 1 cup coffee w/5tbsp creamer = 333

snack: 1 hard boil egg = 77

lunch: cesar salad = 500

snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/slice tomato = 100

dinner: 2 grilled boneless porkchops, cabbage & zucchini = 680

snack: ice cream sandwich = 150

total calories = 1840

water: 16 8oz glasses of water - By the way today would have made 15 days without any soda but I tried a cheery coke zero & loved it

workout: 30 min elliptical 1-6 level (working my way up adding a min to each level) and 30 min bowflex

 

Calorie Calculator November 16, 2007

I did this calculator thingy on the internet that tells you how many calories to eat in order to maintain or loose, it’s all based on weight, height and acticvity level.

My results: extreme loss 1608 calories a day normal /healthy rate 1857 calories a day                       maintain 2321 calories a day

In yesturdays post I mentioned I had been averaging 1967 calories a day which is only aprox a 100 calories over what the calculator thingy says to eat in order to loose. I think I’m doing pretty darn good and according to the scale I must be doing something right as I am down 1.4lbs this week

today looks like this…..

bfast: tuna omelet (1/2 can tuna, onions, 1/2c egg beaters & sprinkle of sheese) 1c coffee 4 creamer = 310

snack:fruit salad = 145

lunch: small wendys chilli & 2paks crackers = 275

snack: 1/2 c cootage cheese w/slice tomato = 90

dinner: 5 baked wings & side salad w/dressing on the side =720

snack: ice cream sandwich = 150

total for the day - 1690

water: 11 8oz glasses of water (NO soda for 12 days straight)

today is Family Friday and the resturant is - Wing House 

I have finally made a decision as far as workouts on Friday -as of the first of the year I will begin working out on Fridays.

So I have been monitoring my calories & it looks as though I average 1967 a day.

today……..

bfast: mexican omelet (black beans, salsa, cheese & eggbeaters) w/1c coffee 4tbsp creamers = 320 (didn’t even eat 1/2 of it)

snack: 2 lettuce meat & cheese wraps = 100

snack: 2 serving of n almonds = 260

lunch: tuna, mayo, lettuce, tomato & onion wrap = 329

snack: fruit parfait = 145

dinner: mexican = 1800

As you see I caved in & had mexican food for dinner - it was good

total calories for today - 2948

water: 19 8oz glasses of water

workout: 34 min treadmil 3.5 spd 3-13 incline

 

10 of 10 November 14, 2007

So today is day 10 of my 10 days and overall I would give myself an A+/100. No bread of any form, No soda of any form & no sweets. Thank you God! I am so very proud of myself. The best part is I didn’t even feel deprived or like I was missing out. Fridays weigh in will really tell how well I did with my NO efforts.

Today……………

bfast: 1/2 c oatmeal w/1tbsp npb & 1c coffee w/4tbsp creamer = 400

snack: small fruit salad (1/2 banana, 1 slice of apple, 1 section of orange, 4 strawberries & 5 grapes) = 125

lunch: soup = 260

snack: 2 lettuce meat & cheese wraps = 100

dinner: 2 turkey hot dogs cut into my boca chilli & 1 sweet potato w/cinnamon = 494

snack: banana split (1 small banana, 2tbsp npb, 3 tbsp cool whip, 1tbsp sf chocolate syrup & 2 tbsp walnuts = 479

total for today = 1859

water: 13 8oz glasses of water

workout:32 min walk on treadmil 3.5spd  1-12 incline

I am feeling sad today. I start thinking of my dad and how I know Caleb would have changed his ways but it was to late. I just cry at the drop of a hat today & thats not like me. I am usually strong. I love you dad & miss you owe so much.

snack: celery w/2 tbsp npb = 215

dinner: tv dinner & 1 serving of sunchips = 430

snack: sf jello w/cool whip = 60

todays total - 1312

workout: 31 min elliptical level 1-6 min each level

water: 12 8oz glasses

Last week I weighed in at 203 so now you ask: What did the day bring for me as far as the scale goes? 198.8 yes I am back in onderland and yes I am closer to my weight when my aunt & dad passed.

bfast: 1/2 cup scramble egg beaters w/2 slices turkey bacon 1 cup coffee w/5tbsp creamer = 175

snack: yogurt & 4 strawberries = 120

lunch: chick fil a chicken strip salad w/ h. m. dressing= 500

snack: 2 blt wraps = 140

dinner: wood grilled chicken breast w/sweet potato yams =1800

snack:probably none

total for the day - 2800

water: 7 8oz glasses

No workout today as it is my off day - still ghaven’t decided if I will start working out on Fridays or not.

So today makes day 4 of my 10 day quest. I have officially gotten through 3 full days without a problem and it’s all due to my thanks and praise to God.

Today looks like this ……..

bfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal made w/1 cup 1% milk, 2tbsp pure pumpkin, 1tbsp npb & 1 cup coffee w/4tbsp creamer = 490

snack: 1 mozz cheese sticks = 50

lunch: south beach tv dinner w/ sf jeelo cup =250

snack: 1/2 stalk of celery w/2tbsp npb = 215

dinner: south beach cola chicken breast, cabbage & SB mashed potatoes = 560

snack: sf jello w/cool whip = 60

total for today - 1671

workout: 32 min walk treadmil 3.3-3.6 speed incline 7-11

I got in a lilltle tift with my mom this morning and it’s really bothering me. It just seems like sometimes she knows all the right answers and no one else does. She says thats what makes her the mom.
