I had a rough few days this week as far as eating and I was terrified to get on the scale this morning but I did it any way and guess what the scale said “195″ yes sir I will take it (up .2 from last weeks 194.8)
bfast: 2 waffles with 1/4 cup sf syrup & 3 slice sturkey bacon & 1cup coffee with 5tbsp creamer = 305
snack: 4 strawberrys = 40
lunch: chick fil a grilled chicken sandwich w/honey roasted bbq sauce & fry = 750
snack: 2 meat & cheese wraps = 90
dinner: ww steak & portebella (applebees) = 440
snack: desert (applebees) = 500
grand total - 1985
water: 9 - 8oz glasses
Friday family night resturant of the week is Applebees - it’s my grandfathers 72nd bday & thats what he picked
Don’t tell God how big the storm is, tell the storm how big your God is.
I feel I will be facing a pretty big storm tomorrow and I am well aware that I have to suffer the consicunces no matter what as I am the one who chose to eat wrong and to not workout. Wish me luck.

workout: lunchtime 31 mins elliptical - my thighs are tight. I worked up to level 9 what a workout - did 25 mins bowflex & ab ball
I feel a lil pain in my calves and my left ankle from lastnites elliptical workout - I wanted to go longer but my calves & knees started cramping.
2 more days til weigh in - what will the scale read?
bfast: 3 slices turkey bacon, 1/2 cup scramble egg beaters & 1cup coffee with 1/4 cup 1% milk = 178
snack: yogurt & 1 serving almonds = 190
lunch: boca pattie with 1tsp mayo & brussel sprouts = 215
snack: fiber one bar = 140
snack: 1 serving of natural almonds = 130
dinner: sirloin burger on wheat with lettuce, tomato, onion, djonaise & 1/2 sweet potato & sunchips = 710
snack: apple slice & 2 strawberry dipped in dark choclate = 300
total for today = 1883
water: 16 - 8oz glass
workout: I took some ibuprofen before I went to workout and my ankle felt just fine - did 45 mins on treadmil (incline 1-12 2-4 min ets) at lunch

So dh’s bday is over and I will now go back to my normal healthy eating - man am I scared for Fridays weigh in.

lunch: south beach tv dinner = 240
snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese & grapes = 100
dinner: grilled chicken breast w/brussel sprouts & 1/2 sweet potato = 360
snack: 1cup kashi cereal with 1/2cup 1% milk = 310
total for the day - 1567
water: 15 8oz glasses
workout:I plan on doing 1 hour on the elliptical (while watching biggest loser) did 75mins on the eliptical level 1-5 in 4-5 min incriments
The short version -
Saturday - Got up early & did 70 min walk/jog, eating was pretty good except for the fact we ate dinner at Hooters & I had 8 wings & 6 shrimp and of course a hand ful of fries
Sunday - went to church, helped move my brother, took DH to Joes Crabshack for his bday dinner celebration with the family where I did not so well I had a pina colada & a slice of cake - other than that my eating was good for the day, I did not do any official xercise just moving stuff
Today -
bfast: 1cup cheerios with 1/2cup 1% milk, 1cup cofee with 1/4 cup 1% milk = 183
snack: 2 mozzerela cheese sticks = 100
lunch: dh wants to go to zaxbys for his bday lunch - everything seems high calorie there = 1157
snack: cottage cheese & grapes = 100
dinner: grilled chicken breast with sweet potato & 2 pieces bread = 898
snack: ice cream = 1100
total 4 today - 3538
water: 16 8oz glasses
Today is DH’s bday and instead of a bday cake he wants us to go for ice cream tonight -I have got to get this over so I can go back on strict plan
I have set another short small (very atainable) goal for myself. My goal is to loose 5lbs by Christmas day (12/25) starting today.

A thought for the day: True power is the ability to say NO
No to all the deserts at the table
No to the second plate of food
No to high calorie beverages
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and enjoys the precious time with their family & friends.
Back on 11/1 I set a goal to loose 5lbs by Thanksgiving day and I have exceeded my goal - I lost 7lbs

dinner: not sure what all will be served - I wil be watching my portions

workout: 5 mile walk in the rain + 20 min bowflex
So Thanksgiving is around the corner and the Christmas holidays aren’t to far behind that so I came up with a list of tips to help out when it comes to eating whats not so good for us.
1. snack on cherry tomatoes (curbs cravings for sweets)
2. water water water
3. portion control
4. everything in moderation
5. exercise

bfast: 1 1/2 c cereal w/1/2 c 1% milk, yogurt smoothie & 1c coffee w/5 tbsp creamer = 340
snack: 1/2 hard boil egg & 1 serving of n almonds = 170
lunch: tuna salad (1 can tuna, 8tsp dijonaise, lettuce & 2slices of tomato) = 255
snack: 2 lettuce, meat & cheese wraps = 100
dinner: taco salad = 1043

workout: more than likely none today as I have a busy day with personal & work (hope it doesn’t effect my weigh in tomorrow) I worked out 27 min brisk hilly walk & some lunges & abs yippee!
This is a bit of a follow up to my Thanks & Praise post. When I include God (by praying & talking to Him) into my eating habits & exercise it seems as though I have more energy, make better choices and the scale seems to go more in my favor - DOWN. Thats why I need to realize - God and I are dieting together.

snack: 2 morning star sausage patties on wheat bread w/mayo & tomato = 430
todays total is - 1690
water: 16 8oz glasses of water
workout: 31 min elliptical (same as yesturday)
I did the bowflex lastnight & I felt so much energy & strength even though afterwards my arms & legs were exhausted
