Happy Halloween (goal) October 31, 2007

I had set out a goal starting 9/29 to loose 5lbs by Halloween and well today is halloween and I did not reach my goal, I kind of figured I wouldn’t and the reason for that is because in that time frame I lost my aunt 9/29 and my dad 12 days later (10/11) which in turn I gained 8lbs instead of loosing. Of the 8lbs gained I did manage to loose 1lb but I’m not where I wanted to be.

Today will start a new goal my Thanksgiving goal and I want to loose 5lbs by Thanksgiving day which should put me at 196. Check back in on Thanksgiving for the results.

bfast: 1/2 cup scramble egg beates w/onions, boca burger & 1 cup coffee w/3tbsp creamer

snack: 2% mozz cheese sick

lunch: nat peanut butter & 1/2 banana sandwich w/tsp of mayo

snack: 2% mozz cheese stick

dinner: chicken breast & veggies

I will do 2 workouts today 1 at lunchtime (elliptical 30-40mins) and 1 this evening (walk the 1 mile stretch of my neighbor hood)

My gandfather had to be put in the hospital yesturday so if any readers would keep him and our family in their thoughts and prayers it would be greatly appreciated, as we have been through so much in one month but with the grace of God we will get through it.

Normality October 30, 2007

Maybe we have maybe we haven’t but we sure are giving it a try. I make that remark on myself and my familys ability & determination to try hard to never forget my dad and my aunt beth but to go on.

Good morning all! Today I will make a great and positive day in all I do.

bfast: tuna & salsa egg beater omelet, 1/2 cup coffee w/2tbsp creamer & 12oz sf choc 15 milk

snack: celery & natural peanut butter

lunch: 1cup lettuce, 2slices tomato, 1/2 cup cottage cheese & 2veggie patties

snack: 2 ham/cheese lettuce wraps w/spicy mustard

dinner: tonites bowling so I will see

Workout will be at lunchtime - elliptival for 30-40 mins

Yesturday I did workout at lunchtime on the elliptical 32 mins level 6, Dinner was chicken breast & veggies with a total of 12 8oz glasses of water for the day. No soda for yesturday either (hope today brings the same)

 

Under the weather October 29, 2007

So I spent the majority of Sunday in bed as I was so not feeling up to par.

 Saturday I helped with the packng and moving of my uncle and thats where I think I caught my little one day cold. I feel much better today and due to being in the bed all day my eating was not on schedule but was pretty on plan.

Today we are rainy and wet, will walk on the treadmil at lunchtime and this evening is the play at church so may not have time to workout but I will see.

bfast: scramble egg beaters, 3 strips turkey bacon, 1 cup coffee w/4tbsp creamer, 12oz 1% mlk w/sf choc syrup

snack: 2 ham, lettuce & mustard roll ups & 16 nat almonds

lunch: boca lasaugna

snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese

Water for today is great as I have had 9 8oz glasses thus far

Lastnight for family night dinner we went to Longhorn and I had 1/2 of my chicken I ordered with 1/2 of my sweet potato but I did have 3 pieces of bread as well as a faew bites of desert and water to rinse it all down - I didn’t feel bad abut my choices so thats a + .

My weekends always have & always will (I think) be hectic. Today I am helping the family with packing/moving of houses,then it’s out to lunch with the family and then to see my dad as today is his birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!) This evening we have to head to Home Depot and workout - busy busy busy I will be!!!

Bfast: some of the leftover chicken from last night, 1 1/2 fat free waffle with 1/4 cup sf syrup and 12oz 1% milk & sf choc syrup
Snack: mozz cheese stick
Lunch: soul food resturant (not to many good choices here for healthy but it is soooo good)
Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese wslice tomato

Welcome to my new diet blog! This is my first post. I am so excited to be doing this - I was doing all my journaling for the past 5 months in a notebook but it seems I lost the desire for that. I plan on doing the same in here as I did on paper - tracking my food, water, exercise, weight, nsv’s, mood etc. for the day.

Today is as follows -

bfast: 1/2 cup egg beaters with 2tbs salsa & 1/4 cup black beans (made into an omelet) 1 cup coffee w/2tbsp creamer & 6oz tomato juice

snack: 1 (2%) mozz cheese stick

lunch: 6in subway chicken sub with lettuce, tomato, onion & mayo, baked lays chips - diet coke to wash it down

so far 8 (8oz) glasses of water

no workout today as today is my day of rest (family night)
