WEEK 2:
ARRIVAL DAY DINNER:
Atlantic Baked Salmon: Very good, tasty, good seasoning, no “fishy smell or taste”; This was my 2 year old’s favorite item on the plate!
Whole Baby Carrots: Very good, fresh and sweet.
Stuffed Twice Baked Potato: Good, actually tastes like it was made by a real chef.
Pineapple Crisp: I didn’t care for the topping, it was a little bland, I scrapped it off and ate the pineapples alone, which were sweet, juicy, and fresh!
The only this I would say I would do different next time is that I would add a tsp of water to the carrots to keep them from shriveling up a little in the microwave, other than that, this meal was an A+!
DAY 1: (1ST FULL DAY):
BREAKFAST: Plain bagel w/cream cheese & orange juice- When I woke up and checked my menu to see what my Day 1 breakfast was, I was a little, we a lot, skeptical. I figured one “penny Anny” bagel and some OJ was not going to keep me full, but I was surprised. First of all, the bagel is on the large side of average, and they give you Philadelphia cream cheese and ocean spray orange juice. The bagel had some crunchy spots, my fault for not microwaving it enough, but it was all edible, and tasted like a bagel you’d get from the store. The OJ was good, Ocean Spray brand, and most of all, that was about 3 hours ago and I’m still completely satisfied. We will see how lunch goes, so far, I’m in love with DTG!
