New Gym, “Old” Trainer
Today I started at a new gym but with the same wonderful trainer I had last year when I was doing so well. She worked me hard today (although I must admit, 5 minutes into it I was pretty worn out, since I’ve let myself slide SOOOOOO far back downhill). But we did 45 minutes of good, hard strength training.
So yay me! This will help me get the food back under control, cuz like I’ve said before, who wants to eat like a pig after you’ve worked out like a dog?
Today’s weight was a lovely 219.5. Good grief. Could barely stuff the girls into my sports bra tonight; I’m getting back to the gym just in the nick of time.

Hi Gettin Fine!
I’m so happy to see that you are posting again. I sent you a comment back in May. We are so similar in our situations - I’m 51 and 217 pounds. Going back and reading your previous blogs is like reading my own journals. I don’t have a blog yet - maybe I need to do that to have some accountability. I have managed to lose NO weight since that post in May. All summer I kept telling myself that I was going to get SERIOUS about losing weight beginning August 1. Well, a couple of weeks have gone past and I’m still in the same spot. It just seems so hopeless. I have until my daughter’s wedding on July 31, 2010 to finally make some changes and get rid of this weight. This should be the ultimate motivation since I hate pictures and I don’t think there’s anyway (as mother of the bride) that I can avoid them. I should be looking forward to her wedding and all I can think about is those damn pictures! Anyway, I look forward to following your journey and I’m hoping that we can both do this together!
