I decided to start this blog simply to keep myself in check and have somewhere to put my thoughts while I’m going through this phase of my life, and if I can help anyone along the way who’s in the same shoes I am than that’s just a bonus!!

I am following the Ideal Protein Diet protocol. It’s a very unbalanced/extreme diet, however it is short term and I feel the outcome outweighs the price in all aspects. My body will be living off my stored fats/sugars for the next few months or so and my pancreas will be taking a well deserved vacation. There are 4 phases and 1&2 are gunna suck! Nothing worth having is easy to get though so I’m will to suffer through the blandness and redundancy to get myself in a good place where I’m not constantly thinking if the person beside me thinks I’m fat.

I’ve heard many different opinions regarding this diet, from the internet to my own family and friends. At the end of the day everyone is different and just because one method worked for someone, doesn’t mean it will work for another. I feel this is my answer and I vow to maintain my goal when I get there with the exception of a few pounds as that is normal. When you’ve seen yourself at your best physically and let it go, you want more than anything to never feel like you feel now again.
