makes ~11 1/3c servings
1 tbsp light butter
14 oz stuffing bread
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup diced celery

The real make over for this week, hopefully, will be a stuffing recipe. But I’ve been working on trimming down and leaning up my mother’s hamburger pie recipe over the last few years.

Original Recipe
2 C instant nonfat dry milk
3/4 C cornstarch
1/4 C reduced sodium bouillon
1/2 tsp dried crushed thyme
1/2 tsp dried crushed basil
1/4 tsp pepper
Combine all ingredients in blender. Store in airtight container. Use 1/3 C dry mix and 1 C water mix together in sauce pan. Cook until thickened.
