Today (still Day #2) I had to jump out the gate with a huge challenge! I never pass up opportunities to see my daughter in college and today happened to be the day. After my Fine Herbs & Cheese Omelette I packed my shaker, the Wild Berry Yogurt Mix, some bottles of water, a measuring cup, and my homemade salad dressing (2 tsp of olive oil and 2oz of white vinegar) and off I went.
By the time we made it to the college her friends wanted to go the local shopping mall and my mother was starving. My mother — of course — wins. We went to the 99 House. I was trying not to freak out. This is where I’ve always had trouble. I walk in a restaurant and I fall apart.
I looked at the menu and I just dropped the fears and read it. I settled on a 4oz chicken breast boneless and skinless with no sauce and a wedge salad without anything but the wedge of lettuce. As we waited for our meals I prepared and drank the yogurt (it was good) and then had my little dinner. I felt very full after so I know that the yogurt by itself would have been enough.
As we left the restaurant I was really happy. It may not seem like much but to me it was nothing short of amazing and totally worth mentioning here.
