Salmon in Orange Glaze

This is the BistroMD Salmon in Orange Glaze.

BistroMD Salmon in Orange Glaze

Turns out the glaze is NOT gluten-free, so this is a “no more for me” dish. But the fish is fresh and filling. The veggies are great. The second time they sent this, I made it without the sauce/glaze and the fish is actually FABULOUS.

That’s something really impressive about BistroMD and seafood. They are using REALLY good fish.

  1. Love your blog. Thanks for doing it. AND I just bought a Wii (and the Fit) this weekend. You’re right, it’s incredible. Didn’t mind when it told me I was obese, but it didn’t have to make my Mii fat too! ;)

Something that you may want to try on the fish is a cucumber yogurt sauce. Chop up a cucumber, mix in some plain fat free yogurt, throw in some dill (or spice of your choice…I like cilantro). I like it with just about anything, but it would be a great substitute for sauces on fish that you can’t eat..

  2. Thank YOU, Kathy! So glad you’re finding the info useful and/or entertaining. ;) I have fun writing it but it’s nice to know it’s being read too. ;)

HOW MUCH do you love your Wii and Wii Fit? I mean, COME ON!! So much fun!

Yeah, I cringed at the little “fat Mii” on the screen, but then I realized I could throw myself a party when I hit “overweight” instead of “obese” here in a few weeks (hopefully). Heck, whenever it happens, there will be MUCH celebration. ;) Over a Mii! Hee!

THANK YOU for the idea for a great sauce! I love dill and yogurt and cucumber, so that sounds PERFECT (and I love cilantro too, but I usually overdo it with the cilantro and wish I hadn’t used so much. A little goes a long way, and I’m not so good at the kitchen stuff). That’s a WONDERFUL, simple idea and probably way lower on calories and fat than the tartar sauce in the jar.

    THANK YOU!

    I really appreciate it! :)

    Yay!
