Piss On It

I know I said I didn’t care about things like weight/diet/exercise right now because the focus has been on just being able to b-r-e-a-t-h-e (and, of course, there are much bigger issues at hand — woohooooo Obama!). But.

But but but.

I am disappointed this morning — scale reads 135. I wiggled a bit in case it really wanted to read 134, but, no, it’s 135.

Fair enough. I ate a whole pizza last night, didn’t I? Yes, I did. It was very thin crust and mostly tomatoes, but still, it was the whoooooole thing.

So — it’s a new day. (Yes! In more ways than one! CELEBRATE!)

Decided to vary my morning weight habit by doing one day of upper body followed by one day of abs, and trying to let the lower body stuff take care of itself. This is mostly a way to get me to start into a routine of core work again, which I’ve neglected for months and months.

Yesterday was upper body: 3×12 bicep curls, and lots of arm air-pushing (up, down, back, forth).

Today was core: 1×10 for curl-ups, reverse curls, ‘iron cross’ (feels good, so a treat), bicycles (aaaarrrgh!).
