Easing Into Habits

For some reason, I thought I’d lost weight over the weekend, despite the family and travel times (traveling on the turnpike, for me, means indulging in Cinnabon and onion rings and other things that definitely do NOT cause removal of pounds). The scale’s doing its pop thing between 134 and 135, however, so there you go.

B (8:30 AM) (yeah, I know, too late — got sidetracked writing to the sibs): coffee w/whole milk, dry banana-cheerios

Sn (11 AM): handful of nuts/dried fruit

L (2 PM): yogurt

Am looking forward to spinach/pasta/bacon conglomeration for supper tonight and so trying to keep today’s intake small. But I’m now at a hungry point. Grrrr. Am not yet in the habit of being intentional about all of this.

Plus, of course, I need to get my rear in gear. Taking the dog for a walk around the block is not exercise like I need exercise.

S (6:30 PM): tortellini with wilted spinach, chopped bacon; v. small glass red wine [note to self: it felt very good to cook supper for myself and to have a glass of wine with supper]

Sn (7:30 PM): orange juice

Sn (8 PM) (yeah, during BL, ROTFL!): chocolate!!! 2 mini-kitkat bars plus the rest of the Wilbur buds
