Why not just call it Crack Bell

A.M. weigh in: 158.0

Soooo, after my blogging last night, I ate a Taco Bell soft taco followed by a crunchy taco, leftover from the kids dinner. Why??? Well, my stomach was actually growling and I was hungry. BUT - it was 11:50 at night!! Crazy!

I did get up and workout for 45 minutes on my elliptical this morning. And then I had a big bowl of sugar-free Quaker oatmeal when I got to work a little bit ago. Not going to let a little midnight psychotic episode kill today for me!!

I’ve been thinking about that Boot Camp from yesterday’s post. I just can’t justify the $300 when I’m already spending $60 a month on a gym membership and another $40 a month for Weight Watchers. Then $300 TO TOP of that?? My last name ain’t Rockefeller (and in this economy, even they’d think that was excessive!)

Instead, I’m going to design my own Boot Camp. I have a horrible time with follow through, definitely not one of my strong points (like procrastination, that is a total strong point!) However, being the eternal optomist that I am, I keep trying. You only fail when you stop getting back up (or something like that.) And so, I’m going to spend the next week designing my own Boot Camp workout and nutrition guide, basing it on what I have and what I know. Boot Camp was an hour 5 days a week, 5:30 to 6:30 am - I can do that. I can get up at 5:30 and workout for an hour. Heck, my gym even opens at 5:30.

I wonder if I can get a recording of Jillian Michaels yelling downloaded onto my MP3 player? Cause that would definitely help.

UPDATE 3:00 PM

Just finished a GINORMOUS SALAD, or as Ms. Bitch Cakes calls it, a SUPER SALAD <— click on it for her recipe, it is DA BOMB!! Not only is Sheryl aka Ms. Bitch Cakes one of my very favorite blog writers, she is a really great person. I don’t know her IRL, but when I went to NYC back in February, I sent her an email asking about what I should be sure to catch and what was worth skipping (since I only had 3 days to sightsee all of NYC!) I had only just started following her blog and she didn’t know me from Eve, but she emailed me right back nonetheless and was just as helpful and friendly as you could imagine! Her advice helped make my trip the best and totally memorable!! If you’re a Weight Watchers follower (or just want some really great advice from an awesome perspective) then you should totally follow her blog!

lulubellesmama I actually own Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred DVD and her companion book Making the Cut. I should totally break those out!! Thanks for reminding me!! In fact, last month I bought her new book Master Your Metabolism and Hot Bod in a Box, which is a set of basically flash cards with all these workouts on them. I’m embarrassed to say they’re still in the Borders bag by my bed, right where I put them when I brought them home. Yep, I need to use what I already have. I can’t just own it, I gotta use it too. I’m guessing that’s in the fine print somewhere!!

  1. Hey, my nephews and sister are GF. Have you heard of Jillian’s 30 Day shred? You might like that, a lot less than $300
